I honestly clicked on this expecting some kinda ankle monitor joke. Good form. Laughed a little harder bc I wasn’t expecting it.

I’m just gonna say it again: no one does hospitality better than LSU fans.
As always win or lose it was a great weekend in Baton Rouge and not once was I or any other Bama fan that I saw treated poorly.
But it was different this year energy wise. I’m not sure if it was election hangover, Saban being gone, the grey weather or first half rain, but there just wasn’t the same juice this year.
The last two Bama-LSU games were peak CFB in every way. The energy and passion was down this year even before the game turned into a rout and to be blunt the noise wasn’t a factor this year.

This. I've never felt so "meh" going into an LSU-Bama Game since 2006.

You come out of retirement for this?

Temu Tiger killed it.

Saban being gone
Prior to Saban coming to Alabama there really wasn't much hate between LSU and Alabama. I'm sure they didn't like us much, and we didn't really care for them either, but there wasn't any actual hate there. LSU was just that team we played that had all the players with the funny names. The hatred towards us from them after 2007 seemed mostly directed at Saban himself at first, and then at Alabama more generally as a "that should have been us" kind of thing. Now that Saban is gone, the "rivalry" has cooled and will continue to do so, unless both teams return to being top 5 and the game becomes The Game again. Very similar to Florida/Tennessee.

Maybe you could learn something, Temu Dan.

Bill Taylor and TN Tygah have been replenishing the ice for our ankle. They want me to pass along that they’re sorry for ever doubting Daddy Bama.
I also overheard Bill say that he wishes LSU had DeBoer instead of Kelly.
