He really needs to open up his playbook, find the pages with the WR flare and 5 yard hitch, rip those pages out and burn them.

Bobo doesn't run the wrong pattern, miss blocks, drop balls, or throw the ball behind or over the head of the receiver.

Why do you want Bobo to “rip” them from the playbook?

As somebody else said with a lot of ‘in the know’ Mike and staff made adjustments and if you look at the second half stats Beck had a pretty solid game in an obviously off day at the office. Other parts of the team stepped up and the Gaytors defense was no joke.

34 points on the board…

I’d say it looked like a typical day at the office. The outliers would be Clemson and Texas

All I’m gona say is that it is absolutely insane that this offense looks like total shite until we are fighting for our lives in the fourth quarter. Then they let loose and everything clicks. Then they can just move the ball downfield at will? Makes no sense.

Texas was a terrible game too. 3 picks and 0 touchdowns. 3 yards a play.

It sucks that they can find a way to win games!

Well, when you have a shitty QB that scares you every time he throws what else do you expect?

If you think Bobo is even remotely the problem, I don’t know what to tell you.

We have a quarterback who refuses to make good decisions and not a single receiver who has shown a consistent ability to take the top of a defense. We have to scheme guys open, and the fact we’ve been able to do that with the above listed deficiencies is a massive credit to Bobo.

He’s running a shitload of a screens and short hitches because he knows if he keeps pushing the ball downfield Beck’s gonna throw picks.

Never thought I’d be defending Mike Predictable BoBo but Well when our receivers can’t catch shite and get balls thrown behind them by a turnover machine, that’s really not his fault

The short passes typically gain 5 yards. Some less and some more. It is an extension of the run game and forces the defensive backs to make a lot of tackles and to make decisions. I’ll take 5 yards on pretty much any first or second down.

Beck has had too many off days this season.

It also makes them run all over the field chasing the ball and tires them out by the 3rd quarter. We always have our best success in the 2nd half.

Systematic drives wear down defenses that don't have a lot of depth.

I'm not sure why adjustments are not being made on the fly. Its not like we have a shortage of personnel watching the defensive sets being used and then take what the defense is vulnerable to.

I don't care if you throw six passes in a row to tight ends and running backs if it results in putting seven points on he scoreboard.

This is the strategy when you have a game manager at QB.

Unfortunately, we currently have a QB who can only be trusted to be a game manager. It's the right move to dink and dunk when you have athletes all over the field and a pretty good defense.

You say he is a good game manager like it is a bad thing. There is a lot that goes onto that and not everyone can do it.

And that game manager had ridiculous stats last year and was considered a top draft pick. Maybe we should encourage him to do that instead of trying to press for long shots when the check down is open.

Exactly

Put points on the board first and foremost. And in the process wear the other team down physically.

It doesn't matter if you beat another SEC team by 3 points or 21 points as long as you keep winning.

His long ball is atrocious. However, it’s the intermediate stuff where he is mostly getting picked off
