Was he dinged up? There is no other reason he didn’t get a lot of snaps the second half, I mean feed the beast.

Our genius coach decided it would be better to only give him 12 carries after he just had a historic game one week ago.

He has literally said the same thing after every loss. " I got to coach them up better, we have to call better plays, etc!" Here's a clue, why haven't you done those things? 9 games in and the same story. He literally calls the same things every week. That double move to Coleman is called twice in every game and it's hit 3 times that I can recall. The other times it's been under thrown every time. It's getting ridiculous watching the same unimproved bs trot out every weekend. He was asked in the press conference "will there be any changes in play calling duties?" Naw naw I don't think it's come to that. Dude is in over his head. He's literally a deer in the headlights at this point.

I was kind of laughing this week when people thought Coach Hugh had "figured things out'.
No way Vandy was going to let 27 run up and down the field but I was shocked that he was not in the game when we needed him
Unless he was hurt or something, he was not utilized

Apparently they all suck at it. I honestly feel like I'm watching a 3a level high school game. The guys just don't even look like they are trying. Aside from simmons, kls, the rest look lost.

I call coaching. These coaches are not putting these guys in a position to win on offense. The play calling is atrocious. This season is over and he STILL won't change qbs. What good is it doing our backups sitting on the bench getting zero reps if perhaps one of them may need to start next season? None of this makes any sense.

It can happen, instead of them beating you, you beat you. If your bread and butter is running. And you try to outsmart (or make it easy) by setting up the run through the air and fail. . . you get Hugh Freeezee..

Vandy had some good plays, but Hunter was certainly running just fine. 12/50 with some stuffs at the LOS.
If we had a fricking QB, he would have had more running room. If Freeze just fed him the ball 30 times, we probably bust a few plays.
What Freeze doesn’t seem to understand is that guys like Hunter can WEAR DOWN a defense. They get tired of grappling with a guy like that while he gets into a rhythm.
The whole “run Hunter now do the Freeze finesse offense to maybe Hunter to finesse to OH shite NO MORE HUNTER WE’RE LOSING” is a sign of how overwhelmed Freeze is as a coach.
We have a significant strength with our running back and we’re losing every game. Just feed him the ball and see what happens.
I have zero reason to believe Hunter would ever go 30 carries for 67 yards or some shite against Vandy. Maybe Georgia. But Vandy’s not shutting him down. Freeze shut him down.

So he was "winded" from early in the 2nd quarter till the fricking game was over late in the 4th?
Guy goes for almost 300 yards last week and he gets 12 carries this week and is standing on the sidelines when he could have been the difference in the game.
I am officially in the camp of Freeze is an idiot now.

maybe he is saving his health for next year? all i got.... I didn't watch the second half. giving up and not trying to score with 30 seconds left and going in the half with 2 time outs and the ball was enough for me to see they didn't want a win.
