Just stop. Dont do that to yourself. Sometimes you just have to understand that a mistake was made and it needs to be fixed

Hugh will never be successful at Auburn and it is so easy to see. He is a joke. His decision making is pathetic and it has hurt the program

There will be no rabbit being pulled out of the hat. Dude is a chode

Vandy coach is getting the goodie out of his talent. Hugh is just lumbering through the games and every single aspect of his coaching is a failure

I was becoming alarmed after how we finished last season, and especially when, after the bowl game where we got demolished by Maryland, Freeze nonchalantly says he was out recruiting and wasn’t involved in the game plan.

This man is nothing but a clown and a narcissist. Nothing is ever his fault, there’s always someone to throw under the bus. I would never have believed even five years ago that Auburn would lose to Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and New Mexico State at home in the span of a year, in such a demoralizing fashion. I just do not see a program that has any confidence or motivation at all right now.

Yup.

I am laughing seeing people saying what he needs to win next year. This guy will never get us more than seven wins.

He lacks the balls to take accountability for how poorly coached the team is. He has no winner in him.

Vandy coach is getting the benefit of having a chunk of the NMSU coaches and key players on his roster. To his credit, he was man enough to realize they would benefit his program and willing to turn over a lot of the program to them. Freezus has too big of an ego for that and just watched Pavia wear his arse out for the 3rd year in a row on a team with less talent than Hugh was working with. He deserves every bit of shite thrown his way from the AU fan base at this point.

Stuck with another offensive guru circa 2014. The difference between Gus and Hugh is that Gus actually did pay attention to detail and take ownership.

I’ve been of the mind that Freeze hasn’t had an adequate level of talent to be competitive in the conference. I’ve been particularly spotlighting weaknesses on the LoS. I don’t care what coach you bring, without an upgrade in LoS talent, we are proverbial “meat” for the rest of the SEC.

That said, the playcalling by Freeze was dogshyte today. As was his continued mismanagement of timeouts … brutal. Backed up against our own goal and our OL can get ZERO PUSH against a tired Vandy defensive front … just awful. And then you call 3rd-and- 20 fly route … when you only need 9 yards?

Vandy improved from last year. We regressed. Bring out the talent excuse. You think Vandy was loaded with talent last year? Did they recruit better than us last year?

But here they are, a team we beat good last year and they beat us, beat #1 bama, and gave Texas all they could handle.

And here we are sitting in the ditch.

There is one explanation. Everyone should know.

Good recruiting is crucial. But the guys can’t just be rolled out there and expected to win.

I don’t know anyone who is defending Freeze.

But if your hot take is to fire 2 coaches in 4 years - you are not logical at all.

Big picture. Why do we have such a bad QB. Vandy sure has a better QB than last year.

Identifying root cause is always the key to solving big problems.

You focus on downstream issues, you’ll never get it right.

I've accepted the fact that I'll find better things to do on Saturday instead of Auburn football

Hard truth is we’re screwed. Fire him and no one any good will come, and frankly, the folks at Auburn that would make the hire have no idea how to identify a good coach. Coach Dye was a very helping influence and is missed badly. If we keep Hugh, I don’t think he gets better and we have more problems next year.

Love Auburn and I’ll be cheering every week, but honestly, I see a lot of bad years ahead.

Yep. Hugh will be here next year no matter how much anyone wants to bitch and moan. I’d like to see what we can do with a QB that doesn’t overthrow a 6’5 TE with nobody with 10 yards of him, by 20 yards. I blame Hugh for that being our QB, but good lord what we could do with anything average.

I think this is the crux of the problem

Whatever man. There's plenty of good to see. You just have to look a little harder to see it through the pile of shite this season has been. And that's hard for those that can't think past the knee jerk reactions and those that have something personal against the man.

I don't want to see you pumping fists when we land a transfer qb and win some conference games next year. Talking shite like that then expecting to just eat your crow and then try to celly with the boys is pussy shite.

We don't want to see more excuses when he doesn't. He better be prepared to drop some major cash for a qb. And to be honest I don't think he will. If he doesn't he signed his walking papers. Because remember Thorne gives us the best chance to win and the others are trash. It's going to be funny if he hangs on to this terrible offensive staff and puts out the same bs next season.

Im not saying im happy with freeze but things take time. Napier who was being talked about getting fired is 4-3 and playing Georgia well. Think Florida doesn’t see improvement? This may take a while.

You won't.

Lol. If we don't it won't be because he didn't try. You'll hear our name in the ring for every big name. Now if they choose us that's a different story.

Everybody beside the o-line coach gets a pass for this year. And Marcus Davis should be studied under a microscope and scrutinized as well. I think the wrs are probably developing though. He's got Derrick Nix to help him out there.
