Been on a work trip to Tulsa today, a mood of doom perpetuates all of Soonerdom

My first time spending time in actual Tulsa today, other than zooming by on the interstate, I've never conversed with the locals in detail like i did today.
I will say, I enjoy the size of the airport and they have a Shlotzsky's! Steak and lobster was fantastic last night where I ate dinner. Those are my positives. The cuisine is good.
The point of my post is to say that all my suppliers are Sooners and damn if they aren't all depressed. We got to talking football at each visit, they admitted they weren't ready for the SEC. They've turned on Burnt Vegetables and hate the way he ripped away Arnold's confidence the way that he did.
My main baw has season tickets and is making the drive to Norman on Saturday, but he didn't want to. Said nobody wanted to buy his tickets from him so he has to go and watch a pitiful slugfest with Maine. A once proud program has been chewed up and spit out, they have no hope.
Sidenote, I ate lunch at Oaks Country club where Oral Roberts was hosting a golf tourney. Mizzou was there playing amongst a few smaller programs. Watched the tranny from Mizzou rip a drive right into the trees off the tee
Slammed his driver down and yelled "frick!" Is Mizzou good at anything?
Will OU ever return to glory? Locals don't think so, and it appears the same from the lack of sod busters not posting on here anymore. At the Hudson News, the cashier was saying how they're having to mark down Sooner Tee Shirts by more than 75% so people might potentially purchase them.
Anyways, CSB

Kamala will give surgery to that trans-golfer
There is a Shlotzsky's in Inverness (didn't know if you knew that)

Try the loaded baked potato salad at a Billy Sims BBQ location

Good. Now, if only Texas would go in that direction but I don't think so. Recovered (or active yet functional) alcoholics make great coaches because of the insidious desire to keep that paycheck coming in and not look like a failure even if it kills them.
I always kind of wonder if Saban isn't deep down a dry drunk.
Anyways, I like Oklahoma. Good folks. You hate to see it happen to them but when they gave up defense and started on the basketball on grass thing, I kind of don't feel sorry for them as much as I would have otherwise.

Don fricking Williams
Speaking of country legends, it's a Gatdang shame they couldn't keep that Roger Miller museum going in Erick, OK.
I always stopped there when passing through.

I know the first thing I do any time I visit a landlocked state is try the seafood.

I do believe you. If you were lying, you would have said OKC, not Tulsa. Plus I know some Sooner fans up there too and yeah they are checked out for sure.

Oklahoma got by for a long time being the big fish in a generally bad Big 12.

It was probably his wife, Cletus that got him all confused.

None of these look like dudes.
I know me and you battle a lot but is the link to Mizzou women’s team a shot at my credibility? Cause I saw Ragin Cajuns, Blue Devils, UTSA, ORU etc all baws.
Mizzou’s “dude” that drove off the T right in front of me literally was like 225 but looked like a woman. Drove it right into the trees no lie. It was “men’s event”

Tulsa is not a Sooner town and is a dump. No true Sooner fan will say OU was not ready for the SEC.

F-em, they need a decade of wandering the wilderness to reset their reality meters.
I don't think it takes nearly that long, (they may be back next season) but they still deserve it.
