Seeing a lot of people overreacting to Saturdays 34 - 0 win. Offense was sluggish, especially in the first half. Defense was solid but given Missouri was out their QB and leading rusher don't think we can take much from that.

In my opinion, the second half was more of Missouri quitting then Alabama really dominating them. I do think the defense played with more energy and confidence which was good to see.

You also thought Dabo was the third most "ideal" candidate to replace Saban, so unfortunately, I can't take your opinions seriously

Dabo doesn't look too bad right now considering we have a soft coach that the players yell at to go back to the sideline, and he tucks his tail and turns around and does what they tell him.

Eh, believe me I didn't want Dabo either, but it's not like there was a lot of obvious homerun candidates. Cignetti might have been in hindsight.

Dabo would not be able to win in the SEC with his "philosophy" on recruiting, the transfer portal, and NIL.

We won 34-0 against a ranked conference opponent. Be happy for the win.

This year, if we beat any body by 34 is acceptable.
In fact, any year winning a game by 34 is acceptable.

Geez , what more do you need? And what would that have proven?

Proved we have some "fans" who will never be happy and would rather be right about the players and team than for us to win games.

When Bama wins big, the other team sucked

When Bama wins close or loses, the coach is terrible, didnt prepare the team at all and the players are lazy

Maybe CFB is hard and success isnt built overnight or by just inheriting a few 5 star players.

I think people are looking for clean, organized, efficient, effective play. We are looking for improvements, even small incremental ones. We are getting a continuation of the play we've had. Which understandably is concerning.

I think we can't take anything from the win except that it's a win and the players will feel good about it. They need a confidence boost.

Just enjoy it for what it is, a win instead of a loss.

Thank you for putting it better than I could. The point I was trying to make is that this past week wasn't much different than the weeks before it. People are looking at outcome instead of looking at the process to that outcome.

Team needs to continue to keep their foot on the gas and have a sense of urgency to improve. They can beat anyone on any given day, and they can lose to just about anyone as well.

I get the vibe from this team that they are more focused on the results of the game then on winning each play (could be totally wrong on that).

Bama beat a ranked team (who is still ranked) 34-0.

This happens to me all the time during a game - the offense sputters a bit, the defense gives up some first downs, but at the end of it all it's a big win. That's what happened again Saturday. Bama slowly constricted them. It's joyless murderball. At least it was on Saturday. Perfect? No. But we're complaining and undermining a 5 TD win and shutout of a ranked team. Like the good ole days.

that Missouri team is going to lose more games. SC, Vandy, Ten. all better than that team we played Saturday.

A win is a win, team still needs to get a lot better.

I'm not sure it didn't prove ANYTHING. Sure, it wasn't the tough opponent we thought when the schedule first came out. But, the offense still had to function against a relatively healthy Missouri defense and as the game progressed I saw a shift in playcalling to more "Alabama football" than I've seen all year. We began running the ball with our two very talented backs and as a good running game normally does, it wears out a defense and opens up the passing.

That was a change from the previous weeks, so maybe the coaching staff is learning how to use the talent on the roster better, which is a good thing.

Yes, he does. Dabo is a good football coach but he hasn’t adapted enough to the current landscape of college football. It’s doubtful that he will win another national championship.

Cignetti was never happening, Saban ran him off from Alabama.
