People are really going to be confused about all this when they see how good Simpson is when he gets a real shot.

I got flamed all to hell yesterday for saying this but Mack is DeBoer’s QB of the future, maybe not in 2025. Simpson on opening day.

I hate that. DeBoer has got to have “his” quarterback to make his stuff work and Mack checked the boxes but such is life in the portal world.

It's Simpson with Russel redshirting. Russell then becomes two year starter where we get back to stud QB's.

No idea, but if Milroe shits the bed in the first half Saturday, I hope we see both Simpson and Mack the rest of the season...giving each meaningful first team reps regardless of who starts. Might as well see what we have potentially for 2025...and potentially giving us a better shot this season.

Milroe should be given very little leeway this week if he actually starts. Simpson should be standing on the sideline with his helmet on ready to go.
