Great hire by state.
He’s a good fit and a solid coach.

Miss St playing bery tough- Ga Tex Tex AM.
Made a few dumb unnecessary risks thiugh yesterday- especially the fake punt.
But I think he was betting his team wouldnt be able to hang w A&M in 4th qtr.
I was nervous about this game and glad it's behind us. Starkville is a graveyard for A&M

Seems like everyone had their doubts about him early on, but State is getting better and better every week. I have very little confidence Arkansas will win in Starkville now, whereas I think we were all expecting a win a couple weeks ago. I like State's QB and they're playing solid football as a team

I appreciated the insight about Lebby offered by Dan Mullen yesterday (courtesy of his in-game interview from the State press box).
Mullen praised Lebby and thinks he’s a solid fit in Starkville.
And if anyone knows, appreciates, and understands MS State, it’s Dan Mullen.
I’m glad for State (despite the fact Lebby’s potency and inevitable success likely means continued stress for the Ags as a permanent opponent of the Bulldogs!).
They’re good people who’ve had to endure some rough years of late.

Meanwhile, is Oklahoma getting worse and worse every week? Probably not a coincidence

Not so sure just yet. Seems a bit of a gambler in making calls on 4th and five on your side of the field, very poor odds. 4th and one in the zone, different story. He gets a few years to prove himself. Though I am somewhat disappointed in not going full bore with 2 minute drill full time as they seem to operate better with it.

Lebby's team looked well coached and disciplined.
He looks to be doing things the right way.
He has to gamble some to overcome the age and experience gap.

We were 1-5 going into the game, so I believe Lebby was being aggressive since we were heavily outmanned and didn't have anything to lose. I think when he upgrades the talent, the risks he takes will be different.

He needs a little time but he’s a solid coach
Just look how bad ou looks now
And Aggies be thankful you didn’t hire stoops

If he had a defense, State would have 3 wins.
He'll be scary to coach against in a few years.

I hope he sticks around a while. I am rooting for Oklahoma to win out.

For the most part yes but ripping the helmet off another player and taking a swing is not what I would call disciplined

What I would hate is if Oklahoma fires Venables after next years season, whiffs on Huepel, than comes after Lebby after a good second season.
