Pre-Georgia Q: If Texas wins SEC in inaugural season…?

I’m going to ask pre-Georgia game and post— same question:
If Texas, in our debut, run the table and kick the crap out of the legacy SEC to win it all:
What does that say about the SEC?
What does it say about Texas?
What does it say about A&M with their 12 year head start?
And most importantly, what sorts of moving the goalposts and arguments will you all have to rationalize and minimize this history?

When we go 16-0 they're just gonna say "down year". Sometimes you can't win

Big bro would be the inmate that sucks up to the prison guards.

So then my question would be, how bad does everyone in the SEC suck if they can’t even win it in a down year?

Settle down.
Ed Orgeron has an SEC championship.

We would say congratulations and not be a douchebag.
Look if you win the SEC. You are the champ. Full stop.
It says others weren’t as good as you. Full Stop.
Do we really need another thread about it though?

We've still got quite a few potential Ls on the schedule. This is bad juju.

You Texas fans are mouthy bunch. Eventually you're going to get punched right in it.

It’s as simple as you would have come into the conference with the right team at the right time with the right schedule. Ask mizzou how that works.

Really dude? Show some humility and good sportsmanship.

Texas, in our debut, run the table
It means you've gone 1-0 against the actual hard teams on your schedule. The schedule is the most ridiculously soft one you could imagine that features the entirety of the bottom feeders and only one of the upper echelon teams.

You had a great year? Hell you’ve known you’ll be in SEC for like four years. I’m not sure what Okie is doing though.

Our schedule includes a team that almost beat Georgia (and arguably should have) in Kentucky, and Vanderbilt who then beat UK & Bama. And it looks like A&M could be better than most teams not named Texas & LSU, though losing to Notre Dame is fabulously hilarious.

I'd say why haven't you won the last 9 national Championships? Is the big 12 or the pac10 that much better and if so why didn't they win more titles

If you're having to cite vandy and Kentucky to pump up your schedule to look hard, the writing is already on the wall.
