Why did you toothless hicks hype this kid up so much?
After all that preseason hype, both 10rc and Florida will be 4-2 come Sunday morning.

Them and OM do it every year

The natural talent is apparent. He does need coaching and some time to build up his frame and psyche. He would have benefited from a redshirt year, but who has time for that now?

He looks ok, but after paying $8M, they can’t afford to be wrong.

Oh? My mistake then. Nico is so lanky I thought he was straight out of HS.

When you pay so much money for something you expect it to be worth the investment.

Florida has become emboldened by their recent wins over UCF and miss st. Now sets their sights on Tennessee. A mere 15 point underdog, the game is essentially a tossup, and is just the type of game gator fans have gotten used to with Napier at the helm.

We are getting Eugene Wilson back, and we are playing our bitch Tennessee, so I will drink the kool aid this week

I don’t know maybe we both suck
Our only advantage with this game is Neyland.
You are right Florida has had our number the record shows it.
Hopefully it’s a good game

NIL brings heavy expectations. Players aren't going to get the benefit of the doubt anymore. Gotta earn those fat stacks from the start.

Strongly disagree.
Arkansas has a good defense and he was missing his two top WRs and both ouf our tackles, especially left tackle got absolutely abused the entire game.
Even a senior QB would look bad in such conditions against a good defense. We all saw Spencer Rattler for example last year at SC behind a putrid line compared to his 2022 performance.
I was down on Nico as well until i went back and watched tape thoroughly enough. The fact of the matter is he didn't have a great game, but the oline and WRs had an awful outing.... especially our oline.
My only complaint with Nico really is to take more scrambling opportunities when they prevent themselves and to stop dropping back in the pocket so much because we aren't really built to be a strong pocket passing team this year.
Not sure if he's being coached not to scramble or what but he needs to lower his shoulder pads and more and take off. Whatever it s, Nico is thinking too much instead of just playing imo.
Thinking is good but over thinking is bad. A good example of a guy would just go out and ball without over thinking stuff was Johnny Football.. That's how i want to see Nico play ..... just with reckless abandon....stop being afraid of making a mistake. Just play.

Until our oline steps up in pass protection and/or Heupel manages to coach around the left side collapsing every other play, i wouldn't expect too much from Nico.
Injuries at WR haven't helped as well.. I'd really like to see the freshman 5 star, Mike Matthews get more reps
Squirrel White is the most overrated Tennessee WR I've ever seen. Why does this guy get so much love? Must be the name because it definitely ain't from his actual quality of playing.

You can't draw any broad conclusions about a freshman playing in an early game on the road. For all anybody knows he could have a great game on Saturday, or he could struggle. Freshmen aren't consistent.
