I just read and watched freeze give the explanation of the 4h and 1 play thorne jacked up. Freeze said the play was hunter dive left and thorne checked out of it. Hunter also confirmed that was the play. At what point, whether he gives you the best chance to win or not, do you just sit him down because hes not following directions? Its now caused problems in 3 games where hes changed the play and failed miserably. Honestly i would just ride with hank the remainder of the season.

It’s Throne.

Maybe he could switch the strength of the formation to shift their alignment, but that would be it.

I don’t think RPO is the answer anymore.

Teams know he’s throwing glance at all costs.

If our other options were better, they would play. Thorne is not good, but he appears to be better than the backups.

Once, ok.. maybe you saw something that I didn’t; I will let it slide.

Repeat offender needing a roasting on the sideline would equate to you holding the clipboard the rest of the season.

You don’t flat out change plays unless you’re Young, P. Manning, or Aikman

Don't try to coach a backyard game ......You have no clue what you are trying to do.

I wonder is this didn't also happen in the Oklahoma game. Surely a coach told him then to run the damn ball.

Thrones a loser and also a son of a coach, which makes it easy for me to believe he change the plays vs OU and the one. vs UGA. Hank has a stronger/better arm, but is to young and raw. Thorne is experienced but a moron in the clutch.

I agree to a point.

If 4th and 1, and coach wants Hunter to get the ball, QB role would be to flop a TE or motion someone to move their alignment.

Sadly, we aren’t making plays that are there. Simmons- who I love- dropped a TD. Cam has multiple drops.

It’s not all Throne, but some of it is.

All of the results are CHF’s responsibility.

If we are going to lose games with PT then we might as well let someone else get that quarterbacking experience.

His power to change plays have cost us games possibly. He has constantly made the wrong reads this whole season. That has been pointed out by several ex pro qbs.

Thorne is Auburn football’s highest-graded offensive player through the first six games of the season. Thorne is on his way to surpassing last season’s 1,755-yard mark through the air and is six touchdowns away from matching his 2023 total. Through five games, Thorne has thrown just three turnover-worthy passes with nine drops from intended receivers. He has been sacked 13 times and has driven Auburn to 56 first downs.

Still dont know why people keep saying he gives us the best chance of winning. The motherfricker has lost 2 years in a row. He isnt about to start winning all of a sudden.

I don't want to see more of the same for the rest of the year. I sure as hell don't want to see more of the same next year, and if we stick with what we've been doing that's what we'll have.

This season is lost. Only moral victories remain, if even those happen. I'd rather just write it off and try to gain a couple more QB's with experience so that we have some options next year.

Fellas, its was a dive to Hunter that was called by Freeze, did you see the DE wrapping his arms around Hunter before Thorne pulled it out.

The second Freeze saw there was a free, thats free DE on the line, his call was doomed and he should have called a timeout.

No he chose to let Thorne run into that train wreck. Then in the presser, backed up and drove over the kid again, rather than telling "the whole" truth instead of "it wasnt the play I called".

Freeze playcalling is shat, as well as game management.

I think he has played fairly decently to be honest. He's not a world beater but he has two shite tackles blocking for him as well.

He just needs to quit checking into really shitty plays at realy shitty times. I love Hugh but that falls on him more than Thorne.

What game management?

Only thing he's appeared to manage since being here is recruiting.
