He shows no emotion. He speaks in empty platitudes. He is soft. This team doesn't know who is in charge.

This is the correct attitude to have towards CKD until proven otherwise imo. Everything about today's disaster points to a culture problem within the program.

It’s a big change and I do think he needs a little bit of time to adjust. What he does with Malachi will be huge IMO. If we hear nothing all week other then what he said postgame and Malachi starts the title of this thread might be correct…

Malachi Moore sure as hell thinks he's weak. No fear or respect for DeBoer whatsoever.

I could’ve missed them, but I didn’t see any clips of DeBoer getting after officials, staff, or players. He kind of just stood there like Shula. No emotion that gave off a helpless vibe.
Not saying he needed to be Muschamp and I get that in a game like this, having a calm coach can prevent panic. But when the team is showing zero fight m, you got light a fire under then .

Why? Because he kicked the ball at the end of the game?
Yeah it's a lousy attitude but a lot of our players were spiking their helmets and acting out after the loss to Michigan. Saban cited that as part of the reason why he hung it up. This is just how the players are now. They're spoiled brats making 6-7 figures

In the middle of the field while TV cameras are pointed at them for the whole country to see live? And there's a huge difference between a player spiking a helmet on the sidelines or in the tunnel going to the locker room, and a player kicking the fricking ball after the umpire has spotted it for the next play.

That’s what a five year old does during a temper tantrum, not a young man, he needs discipline.

His message going forward is clear, "What can be, unburdened by what has been"

I hear a lot of grown adults in here acting like 5yo moaning and throwing tantrums. Yes what he did was wrong but a player pissed if he lost a game he knows they should not is not excusable but adults sitting on their couch acting even worse is excusable baffles me.

Wallace Wade quite literally sat on the bench smoking a cigarette on the sidelines while the team played football. You don't have to be Nick Saban to get these guys fired up. And Saban would have been just as stoic yesterday as DeBoer because that's how he was when we were behind in football games during his tenure.

I don't mind his laid back persona but every single word out of his mouth is generic coach talk, like he's an AI.
Has he ever actually said anything of value when asked a football question beyond: Just go play, take it one play at a time, give 110%, etc.

Yes a lot of keyboard warriors, but it doesn’t make how Moore acted ok. It’s not just him either, most of the defense was taking smack after every play when they were losing and getting pushed around. Vandy was yapping too but to constantly stand over a player after a tackle or push them a little extra with the forearm after a tackle is bad character. Save that energy to make good tackle instead of the damn two hand touch.
I don’t think it’s all on DeBoer but he is the guy in charge that can do something about it.

When you make 12 million a year or whatever it is. Yes, it’s all on you. Deboer better right the ship. Even if it means canning Womack. Heads need to roll as I’m typing.
