So before last weekend I was thinking Georgia beating Bama would be better for Texas. Thinking about it now, Bama winning is better.
With the current situation, "If" Texas can win out regular season, then they'll most likely face Bama in CC game. Lot of speculation and hoping that Texas can win out. Not impossible with the team we have, but a herculean task none the less.

So now I ask you self righteous, shite don't stink, SEC old school arse wipes....Will the weak SOS and SEC Grind bullshite smack talking stop?
My expectation is probably not and an ever changing, goal post moving, effort will begin.

And Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I know Texas has only played one SEC conference game.

We have RRS & Georgia in the next 3 weeks. Gotta take care of those before any “if” scenarios.

We'll never know. Ever. It's never going to happen. Concentrate on other things.

I have a feeling Georgia is going to raw dog them, the game wont even be close.
Tejas is riding high on their weak schedule, Georgia is now battle tested and knows how to fight for 4 quarters.

yup, by the end of year I think that Texas will have played at least 5 ranked teams at final regular season poll. Michigan, OU, Georgia, Kentucky, and aggy if they don't shite the bed as usual.

It's already begun. We're supposed to be 2-2 right now, and Arch is supposed to be a complete bust.

Like any team can do, we showed up sluggish to play a game we should win. And we did win. 35-13. 3 TD spread. But because it wasn't a Texas style 56-0 wipe out, the old school grabs onto it.

We aren't done OP. We are just getting started. We will bring a burnt orange wrecking machine to the Cotton for OU. The nation will see it.

We will be favored to beat Georgia.

I don't think we go undefeated. We just need to focus and get to that championship game. The SEC is a much tougher conference than we are used to so I think it'll take a bit to adjust and we'll drop a game or two in the process.
Just get to that sec championship game and let the chips falls where they may.

The zebras could make a difference. I thought a few of the holding calls vs. MSU were questionable and wondered what the referees were seeing.

You'll play in the SECCG.

Remaining teams undefeated in SEC Play:
Texas A&M - plays Texas, LSU
Alabama - plays LSU, Missouri, Tennessee
LSU - plays Alabama, Texas A&M
Missouri - plays Alabama
Tennessee - plays Alabama
Texas - plays Texas A&M

If Alabama wins out along with Texas, that's it - every remaining team that's currently undefeated in conference play will have a loss outside of those two teams.

Otherwise you could have a scenario where LSU, Tennessee, and Missouri could ALSO run the table and have a 4-way tie for 1st place if Texas also runs the table.

These scenarios only reference the games against teams that have not yet lost; obviously it changes if/when these teams lose to OTHER SEC teams.

You are correct sir. You are mistaken if you think SEC officiating doesn't harbor the same resentment as the pours on this board. We won't get any help. State held us the entire 1st Qtr and it flew under the radar.

You can take LSU out of that, they aren't good enough to run the table.

Texas is better than most NFL team. They can’t lose.

If Texas loses more than 1 y’all should be very worried. Y’all have one of the easier paths to seccg. You avoid Bama, Tennessee, LSU, and OM. The one game you have to get up for in Georgia you get them at home.

I mean this won't happen but the possibility of this type of three or more way tie is an obvious problem. The highest ranked two teams can play in the CCG but the other two would be screwed (deserve co championships frankly)

the officiating was bad but it wasn't just our game. Terrible officiating seems to be an epidemic this year. It becomes the story far too often now.
