Many would be screaming about staying with Green, the oline and calling over 40 passes instead of establishing the run.

You know I’m right.

I don't see any other glaring weakness on this team than the offensive line. They're mediocre on great days. QB is saved by athleticism but haunted by knowing someone is about to Diddy him from behind on every throw.

I thought it was pretty obvious Jackson was beat up pretty good and didn't need to be ridden.

It’s not the same Petrino that was here before.

He’s actually been pretty shitty since the 2nd half of Oklahoma State.

Twill is the only solid coach on this staff.

The guy who had his defense fold in the 4th quarter with a lead? Again?

Agreed on the o line….specifically the inability to pick up even the simplest blitz. Pass protection is awful.

Run blocking is decent.

Since we only have one legit SEC RB now it’s gonna be a painful year for him. I do think Russell will be good once he turns 19.

Petrino consistently gets a pass from our fan base. it was brilliant hire by HY and Sam to save their arse as our fan base is incapable of separating petrino current performance from his past success in different era.

Came here to post this.

Petrino has been dogshit this season aside from the 1st half of the OSU game.

Some of his play calls have been mind boggling.

And he absolutely deserves blame for Green. He’s the one who targeted him, recruited him hard, and bet the farm on a G5 project QB with known issues.

I'm wasn't super thrilled with the Petrino hire but with as trash as Taylen has been I can't really pin it all on Petrino.

We need to give Singleton a shot. Should've done that before we left Green piss this game away.

Guys got some legs and can throw some pretty passes but the amount of frickups completely offset the positives at this point

Blaming Petrino is lazy critique. There are people open almost every play.

It is very obvious that Petrino came here knowing it would be a one year stint.

He doesn't have to try because he knows he will get paid.

Any coach with a job on the line wouldn't have approved a QB that that makes the same mistakes the last three years at Boise. You would make an effort to get someone better from the portal. They didn't because they know they will be fired, get paid and they have no reason to worry.

Is petrino not responsible for player selection and coaching them up to play his system?

Is it not his responsibility to adapt his system to win games as quickly as possible and highlight the strengths of the offense?

He's doing some of the job but it's not 2009 anymore either....

This is the equivalent of 08, yet for some reason people expect the 2010 level of execution. The transfer portal didn't change the amount of time it takes to install a playbook. Especially when one of the new guys is the QB. We have successful former players telling the fanbase repeatedly that this isn't an overnight job and isn't something that gets fixed in a couple of weeks, yet people are deaf to it for some reason.

I'm not convinced Green is the guy, but no matter who we put out there it's not going to be what some people expect, because the expectations are not realistic.

Y'all realize we never had first year QB start under Petrino during his first tenure, right? Mallett was sitting behind Dick learning the offense in 08 before he started in 09.

Because our shitty offense can’t keep the defense off the field.

And goes scoreless in at least 2 quarters a game.

Didn't seem to effect A&M's defense.

Our offense had the lead in the 4th quarter.

The defense gave it up. Period.

I don't know any fan that actually thought this was going to be a 7+ win season.

Realistic expectations should've been 5 wins
