If that happens, that's not good for the Vols. I'm seeing domination start to finish. Maybe the first quarter is interesting but that's about it.

Can anyone explain why they call themselves OU when they are the University of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma has no offense but their defense will hit, How will Tennessee respond to being hit hard for the first time ?

I think the Sooner defense isn’t as strong as being projected. Last year, Tennessee had the 22nd ranked total defense, and OU came in at 49th. There were 8 SEC teams with better defenses ahead of the Sooners. Then if you follow recruiting, I’m fairly sure Tennessee has more blue chippers on the 2 deep.

I have no beef with the Sooners and hope they do well, it should be a very good game. But why do you guys believe the Sooner defense is strong to stop Tennessee, who will probably end the season in the Top 15 of total offense this year?

I haven’t watched either team this year unfortunately, but is there something new or new players that flipped their defense around this year? I appreciate any info you got.

You’d be wrong. They dont, OUs Blue chip ratio is considerably higher than TN. Also you said you haven’t watched OU this year, the defense is wicked, and leads the country in turnovers while not allowing a rushing TD. Also OU has a projected AA on the DL, LB, and DB so every level of defense.

But you can say that about half the teams in this league. The SEC should have about 6 teams in the Top 30 total defense this year. And teams like South Carolina (who most outsiders would assume they suck without watching) probably has 3 All Americans on their squad too.

I think the Tennessee and OU defenses are a push, so the game will be decided by the new QBs making plays. I would be surprised if it’s like 28-24 now.

Is OU gonna get rolled this weekend?

Starting to feel like it’s going that direction.

I agree, both defenses are very good, it’s going to come down to which young QB makes more plays. OUs defense is considerably better at generating turnovers so that could be a huge deciding factor with a young QB on the road in a crazy environment he’s never seen yet.

If UT is not better than 14-14 at the end of the 1st Q before blowing out OU, then that's definitely not good especially if they have national championship aspirations.

I seriously doubt that happens. I see UT ruining Oklahoma and sending them back to 2009 or worse.

Both teams are probably going to just blitz the hell out of the QBs. That’s usually the call for freshmen QBs. Send 5 at them, and see if they can process that.

I still just can’t get the replay of a true freshman OL just working Sweat over play after play all game long like a rented mule last year.
