1. I hate UT (no surprise)
2. I think everyone is shooting their wad too soon on an untested UT beating OU.
3. I'm probably wrong. However, if OU wins, I want to be able to brag.

If OU has trouble scoring td's it's going to get ugly. a good defense will wear out if it's on the field all day.

It's an interesting game:

1. Tennessee: A strong offense with a good defense (potentially elite DL)

vs

2. Oklahoma: A strong defense with a struggling but capable offense & the home field advantage.

If UT scores 30 or more I like us to win. If Oklahoma can keep us below that then it could be a dog fight.

Only 1 of 13 teams not to allow a rushing TD.

I'm not sold on Arnold yet. Great athlete. Questionable decision making. Tends to panic when he is pressured. I think TN has a good chance to win this game comfortably if they can take care of the ball, but if they can't, and they allow the fans to stick around, who knows..

I've seen way worse OU teams beat our arse, and I've seen way better OU teams shite the bed.. They usually show up for big games though..

eta: Texas has never played in Norman. I have no idea how that will impact the game either way..

This is my biggest fear. Our defense is our strength, but we need the offense to keep them off the field, which they have struggled to do so far.

The forecast high is 98. That will be around 5 pm. The field will be very hot.

I think OU needs some lucky breaks to slow down the Tenn offense. Maybe Nico gets some butterflies, or weird things happen on special teams that put OU in good position.

But what do I know? This is why we play the games. Exciting times to be in the SEC.

Tennessee has not given up an offensive touchdown this season. Albeit against a weak schedule.

Their defense vs our offense & our DL vs their OL are the most interesting aspects of the game to me. I would imagine they try to shut down the run game similar to what Georgia has done and make us one dimensional. Most coaching staffs know that we want to run the ball first as opposed to the everyday fan that thinks our offense is built on airing it out. However most teams outside of Georgia haven't been able to do that consistently. And I'm going to be a bit of a Homer here and say even their success has had a lot to do with how much more talent they've had since Heupel took over. Their scheme is elite with Kirby but they've just looked bigger and faster as well with all the 5*'s all over the field. OU has some dudes, but they're not UGA talent wise. We'll see if Oklahoma can replicate their game plan to some degree.

The other aspect I'm looking forward to is their OL vs our DL. We're rotating 12 to 13 guys on the DL without much drop off and wearing offensive lines down. If their OL struggles against that it could be a long day, but if they can play well it will mitigate the best part of our defense.

Not going to happen, they got lucky last year. It took a heroic effort from their favorite Oregon Duck vs our questionable secondary that is no longer questionable, so not happening again.

Edit- to whichever aggy follows me around downvoting, go frick yourself in the corner...I know this is about Tennessee.

Yet you couldn't wait to tell him that, suspicious.

It would be typical Heupul for him to show that offense against the scrubs and then come in and get his arse absolutely handed to him.

That's what Tenn fans don't want to admit.

You guys have thought you could recruit solely with money for years

(HEUPUL CANT RECRUIT)

when are you going to realize it just doesn't work?

Your culture is almost as bad as LSU's in Tennessee.

mercenaries, I would hate to have to watch that.

It’s not suspicious at all. There are several fans that claim to hate, hate, hate us who come from fanbases that make no sense. OM is one of those.

No idea what to expect this weekend. I will say, Great Oklahoma teams heavily favored in these big games have had a history of shitting the bed. Underdog Oklahoma teams who have heard the World against them for weeks leading up to these big games, a lot of times shock the World.

That Vol DL will get pressure on JA, and that's ehat scares me the most. Oklahoma's DL will pressure Nico too though. I think this game will come down to turnovers and special teams. Thank God this game is in God's Country!
