Kiffin currently sits as the 7th highest paid coach in college football at 9 million a year.

Kirby is at 13

Dabo, Sark, Day, DeBoer, and Norvel are at 10m +

Kiffin is not leaving for anything less than 11m imo.

Florida owes 13 million immediately and then another 13 paid out over time. Woof.

Wait Kiffin isn’t over $10M/year? That’s crazy. Sexton and Kiffin haven’t killed these stories for a reason then. Ole Miss is robbing Kiffin!

Kiffen needs to come out and say he isn’t going anywhere.

He has it made right where he is

Shane Matthews says Kiffin will be the highest paid coach in the country if he goes to UF.

Money will not be the reason Kiffin doesn't come to Fla. The big money boosters have already made it clear, they have the money. The real problem is the leadership of the University. An interim President, a dumb arse A.D. who needs to go first. A dead man walking football coach.

That's just his base salary. With incentives, he's going to clear closer to 11 or 12 million this season.

However, we also have two of the highest paid coordinators in the nation as well. It would be very very expensive for Florida.

And he would still likely say no.

That, getting significant contributions to the NIL collective, and giving him complete control of the program are the bare minimum to get Kiffin to UF.

Kiffin publicly thanked the Grove Collective for the defensive line in his presser after the WF game.

that's what I'm saying it's a no brainer for any school that can pay nine to match at 11.

Drink will have to get the same promises if Lane turns them down. They'll go after him next.

Talking heads have already said, for days now, that the buyout is not going to be an issue for UF's money people.

The question I've always had is: at what point do the big money people look at the UF administration and just say it's not worth it any longer to deal with such incompetence and indifference when it comes to athletics?

If the regular fans walk away, UF is done. If the big money people walk away, UF is done. Both have lost confidence in the UF administration. This is something DeSantis needs to take note of and act upon.

Well that's how you get to the bigger question. Money equal, what's the better job, Florida or Ole Miss? I know my answer.
