That's a big chunk of the salary cap to tie up with a defensive back. Good cover corner, they must not have thrown his way much last season. He only had 1 interception.

Seldom is the son the measure of the dad. This is one of the few exceptions. Bobby Humphrey's son Marlon is another for the Tide.

Alabama having Surtain and Diggs as the starting cornerbacks in 2019 was almost unfair.

4 of the front 7 were freshmen in that game due to injuries, including both starting ILBs.
