Super excited for this game, should be played more often.
North Side of the Stadium is usually where visitors tailgate, it’s by O’Brate Stadium and the athletic villages. Youre going to see nothing but empty sports facilities.
South stadium is the action between Hester and Knoblock, tailgating on campus is allowed. Open container is allowed. Try parking south by The Strip (Washington St. is our bar strip) or southeast of the stadium by Eskimo Joes area…find a paid paid parking sign there will be millions of groups (youth soccer club, Boy Scouts, etc..) and it’s like $20-35. Go get a drink ant George’s Stables they sometimes have a red dirt band outside pregame. Eskimo Joes always has activities or a band.
Our bar street is Washington Street(Like the Turnpike Song), it’s across the street from Library lawn…you’ll see the palm trees in the back yard of Murphys bar for reference. Get a Limey or Pain County Painkiller at Copper Penny. Go Two Step at Outlaws.
If you or someone else has to use the bathroom and prefer not to use porter potties while tailgating, you can literally find an academic building and go use one. Most of them are open and have been remodeled/new.
Stadium has some good food, it’s smaller than yours (I went to the Garth concert so can compare), but our food is pretty good selection at stadium. Beer is easy to get, little beer stands underneath the seating before you walk up the ramp.
Let me know if anyone has specific questions. I’m coming from Tulsa and I usually pay to park anywhere I can find a little group holding a parking sign around campus so you can walk to tailgates, bars/restaurants, and stadium.
I recommend BYOB on the way there so you can have a beer cold as soon as you park and slam the car door.

Thanks for this, friend. I'm really excited to see how this game turns out, I also think this is one that should be played more often (possibly every season?) The two schools are barely over 2 hours apart and have a long history of playing each other, it only makes sense to schedule this game often.
Should be a fun game to watch and it'll tell us a LOT about both teams' outlook, especially Arkansas. We have a lot of question marks when it comes to how our players will compete against a good P5 opponent

I'm old enough to remember when the Hogs opened with OkSt, Tulsa and Wichita State for several years in a row.

No worries, we’re super excited too. Ever since the new Big 12 the games are lackluster so excited to actually have a traveling fanbase lol.
I attended OSU 2010-2015 and our fraternity used to go to Fayetteville for Row Week…then Arky’s Greek houses came to Stillwater in May for Calf Fry.
Lots of Tulsa and Dallas ties at both schools. I’m too young to remember the older series, however the culture is very similar. Stillwater is a mini-SEC town.

Y'all would be a great fit in the SEC.

I’m just harkening for the old stays and hopefully keeping the winning streak alive.

Agreed. We've got a full-on baseball rivalry going already

We are what Texas A&M “claims to be”.
I’m from Houston and chose OSU over A&M after visiting game days for each.
My fraternity would travel to Row Week every year, and the Arkansas guys+friends would come to Calf Fry Festival in Stillwater every year (picture above).

Forgot to mention that you can park on Main Street which is downtown Stillwater, about 5 miles from campus.
There’s constant bus shutttles that will drop you off at the stadium kind of like Fayetteville off Dickson.

Gotta see the Arkansas Waterfall.

I’ve always thought this game should be played home and home. Maybe it will happen when we take A&M out of Jerry world

Just Wafflin' and Granny's Kitchen are two fantastic places to eat if you can get to them.
