Realistically how much longer do you think we can keep him I say throw the book of money at him because it’s not long until someone comes knocking it’s surprising we’ve kept him as long as we have

Florida is going to offer him a county to make his personal fiefdom this offseason. I sure would.

He's only 34. And makes $2m a year. I don't think he's itching to get out.

After the Deboer experiment fails, his alma mater Bama may come calling.

No point in giving an honest answer here. This thread was just an attempt to turn the board conversation back to something negative.

Conversely, he's 34 and in a position to earn at least double that after this year if he wanted. Young and willing to put in more hours to create untold amounts of wealth for the rest of his life.

I would bank on this being his last year. That’s how we still got T-Rob when Bama offered more money.

Can’t speak for him. But if I am making that, settled in life and happy. I sit.

HC has so many variables not in your control. Take the wrong job and you spend years being miserable. It isn’t all upside.

I would be shocked if Alabama took a coordinator as their head coach.
And, he has only been a coordinator for 2-3 years.

He was technically to co-coordinator with Lanning in 2019, but Lanning did the heavy lifting. Schumann then shared the title with Muschamp, and i am guessing Muschamp did a ton of the prep work. Don't get me wrong, Schumann is a very talented guy, but he is still fairly inexperienced as a coordinator, much less go to head coach. Very few major schools are going to make him a head coach at this point....especially not Alabama. He is the main coordinator now here at Georgia, so I don't think he is leaving for another defensive coordinator.

Perhaps a smaller school could offer him a head coach position, but we'll see.

He isn't going to be Saban, but I doubt he fails.

Saban got out just as Texas and Oklahoma showed up.

DeBoer is going to have a much harder task to consistently win 11+ games per season.

Not sure if Alabama fans can see the writing on the wall.

It’s the first game and we win big, yet are worried about a coordinator leaving because we are good?
