Commercials in games...

Watching the TCU Stanford game and the way the commercials are placed nearly makes the game unwatchable.
TCU made a touchdown and extra point followed by a spate of commercials. Then they kicked off and that triggered another spate of commercials. Then the ball changed hands and more commercials.
Commercials shouldn't be placed where they destroy the flow of the game.

Most commercials really suck no matter where they are placed but they do create a space for bathroom breaks and trips to the kitchen for snacks and beer.

NFL is all about money, but they do tend to have better commercial placement so as not to disrupt the flow of the game so much.
I don't usually watch NFL stuff, but I'm curious how Bo Nix is going to do.

I am too. I always hope that former Auburn players have success in the NFL

So we should be hoping for a LOW but winning score?
(because t'day might generate a lot of commericals)

I was watching the Colorado game and the beer commercials were surprising.
Pacifico, Modello, Dos Equis, quite the latin influence.

ABC showed a three and out and the punt, then showed 9 commercials in a row. We got a minute or two of football and half a day of commercials.
That makes games Auburn's not in harder to watch.

The new clock rules just shorten the playing time. Then they increase the commercials and the overall game time will be the same

Clemson called a time out. That's enough for 2 commercials at 30 seconds each. ABC ran 5 commercials.

Clemson uga game, I feel like I’ve watched more commercials than actual game.

What was with the long commercial breaks filled with repeat promos and such. Worse yet they cut back to play a few times after a play was over or half way into action.
Given the move to shorten the games, how dumb is that?

ABC/ESPN did the same dumb crap in the LSU/USCw game. They didn't have enough commercials to fill the breaks so they ran a bunch of promos. They seem to have fixed breaks whether they are needed or not.
Are they are trying to kill the sport by smothering it under commercials, promos and useless b-roll?

While O prefer college football. I have to give NFL a couple of things: If they set a 1:05 kickoff, the damn ball is kicked off at 1:05. College games it is 15-30 minutes after kickoff time. Second, the half times don;t last forever

Modelo tastes like crap. I stopped at one.

The TV breaks are just as annoying while sitting in the stadium. They constantly interrupt the flow of the game. NFL keeps tighter reigns on that crap.
The really brain dead part is they run the breaks even when they don't have paying commercials sometimes running the same promo over and over just to fill the time. Doesn't someone at Disney/ABC/ESPN have enough sense to cut the useless breaks and let the game go on?
