2012. Exposing Notre Dame as the pretenders they were was extremely satisfying.

Kind of double edged sword for me. I enjoyed the 2011 one over LSU the most. Their fans haven't recovered since, but at the same time they have become even more annoying because of it. I venture over to their forum on occasion and man they are ate up with us. It's incredible

2012 for me as well.

The SEC championship against Georgia is still probably the best football game I've ever seen. One of Saban's best in-game coaching jobs during his tenure imo.

From a standpoint of remembering how I felt in that moment, there's a 1A and 1B

1A would be 1/9/12 against LSU. Between the tornado happening earlier that year, being at the 9-6 game and thinking we'd lost our chance, to the month straight of bravado from LSU fans on this site (which was probably when this site was at its peak) that was just such a satisfying win. To beating them by 21 points an shut them out was extremely cathartic

1B would be 2009 against Texas. The train was already full steam ahead at that point, but that was the official validation. It was also the first natty that I vividly remember. '95 is really the first season that I comprehended what I was watching

2020 because of all that the team had to battle through. It’s also just our best team and they kicked the shite out of everyone.

Then 2011
2009
2012
2017
2015

9-6

But seriously, this site was almost unreadable for all of November and December with LSU fans just replying "9-6" to everything. They have not recovered from that loss.

Same. Also that defense was just special. We'll never see one like it again in CFB

I enjoy every single one of them, but 2015 will always be my favorite.

I was such a Coker fan from my time at FSU, I remember being so excited when he announced he was transferring to Bama. Also went to the Iron Bowl with my Dad where Henry ran the piss out of that ball, then went to the SEC CG the following weekend where he did it again. 90 carriers in 7 days. Mind blowing. Then the championship game with Clemson which had so many classic plays.

brb pulling up the highlights on the last 15min of my lunch

Ripping their hearts out the following season in BR after it was all but certain they'd get their revenge was, I think, the last nail in the coffin of their sanity. They have been completely broken as a fanbase ever since.

I've wafted back and forth on this question but I think I am going to settle on 2009 for a variety of reasons:

1) I was a student at Alabama at the time
2) It was our first national championship in 17 years
3) We finished the season undefeated
4) The 2009 SEC Championship Game
5) The "Rocky Block" game
6) The fourth quarter of the 2009 LSU game
7) Mark Ingram became Alabama's first Heisman winner

Especially after encountering the overconfident ND fans before the game.

Probably the first because of the SEC title game. Dominating an Urban Meyer team just didn't happen, and avenging the prior year's loss. The national title game was almost an afterthought.

Alabama going on an 8 game run against them forever broke their already fragile, French heritage psyches more than if they walked in on Saban banging their wives while their mom's watched.

They are all awesome in their own ways, but I supposed I'd say 1/9/12 for all the obvious reasons, but also because it was the only one I attended. So there is some bias there.

Bias aside, I would probably pick 2017 because it produced the greatest play in Bama history.

Probably still go with 2009 because it ended that long drought and put Bama back on top.

The rout of Notre Dame is a close second sort of a 1a and 1b
