The record crowd for an Ohio State football game is 110,045. It is the loudest stadium in college football.

Alright I am all for pumping up the buckeyes, but it is no where near the loudest stadium in college football.

A&M had 110,633 during the transition year at Kyle Field. We get louder.

Yep. The Ole Miss game. Your largest crowd ever was a loss to Ole Miss.

It happens. It looks like OM has lost 4 of its 5 most attended games.

Don't most of these schools count people in the stadium not sold tickets?

Hell, you add 2 teams and staff, concession staff, security etc. that can easily add up to another 5-7k...

UGA only announces tickets sold 92,746 per game. No where near the big stadiums capacity but only tix sold, not total attendance...

Correct me if imma wrong

OP listing of Ohio State's capacity is correct. However, OSU's all-time highest attendance is 110,045 vs. Michigan in 2016.

No, it's not the loudest. That designation belongs to LSU's Tiger Stadium. I've been to both and trust me....Ohio Stadium doesn't compare with LSU nor with a few other stadiums in the SEC (Buckeye fans have too many nuts in their mouths to yell properly).

I had always been told that the crowd numbers were based on the entry counts at the gates. That does not include concession staff security, etc. Pretty sure that is the reason those numbers don't come out until around halftime.

I know most of the crowd numbers are usually higher than seating capacity due to the suites, temporary seating, etc.

I understand Austin is the tranny capital of Texas, but words have meanings. Kyle field was undergoing renovations. It was transitioning from an old dump to the best stadium in CFB.

The west side was still the old bones.
