They could go 8-4 and make the playoffs with their schedule.

All Florida fans realize we need to go 5-0 and steal 1-2 games thru the gauntlet in order for Billy to win his job. I think it will be coin flip between Ole Miss and LSU at home.

Or we go 0-5 in the last 5 games like last year (and that was against an "easier" 5 games)

I don't know why we evaluate SEC schedules.

There are only 2 kinds of SEC schedule:

1) With Vanderbilt

2) Without Vanderbilt

Finebaum was saying that schedules considered recent success on field. Florida must have won the SEC several times in the last few years if that was indeed a consideration. Arkansas also. There must have been 2 conference champs the last few seasons. I missed that somehow. He was basing this on Texas's relatively easy schedule and the fact that Texas has sucked for several seasons. Finebaum is nothing if not stupid.

At some point, everybody has sucked for several seasons. What did Texas do last year?

Gators win at least 2 of these 5, when added with at least 6 wins in first 7
equals to at least an 8+ win season.

8-4 would be a helluva season with that schedule. They have one guaranteed win against Samford. They have Miami, ATM and Tennessee early and Kentucky and Mississippi State before reaching the meat of the schedule. On top of that they have UCF just for fun! They could be 1-4 or 5-0 to start...SEC hates Florida. They deserve it.....

They have enough roster to be very competitive and if they catch a couple breaks they could shock us

Just saw the ratings for the most difficult schedule. Florida has the toughest. Vandy has the 6th toughest.
