Texas vs Texas A&M 2024 will be the most-watched regular season SEC game this season.

Edit: The question originally asked if people thought the game would be the most watched CFB game in history. I changed it because it quickly became apparent the original question was not worth asking.

Sell. It won’t even come close. The 2006 Rose Bowl had 36 million friggin viewers. I can’t see that ever being touched.

Sell. Not much interest in that game outside the state of Texas, and most of the Mexicans who live in Texas don't follow college football. They are all 49er fans.

What if A&M and Texas are 11-0? It's not likely, but not impossible.

Sell.

It won't be the most watched SEC game of the season.

IDK about most watched in history but it will be the most watched game that weekend and possibly this season.

Sell by a mile.

And even if by the 1% chance both teams were 11-0 heading into it, still sell.

In my expert opinion, you have to have two national brands to have a chance at the record. With only one in that game, the national audience won't be captured to that level.

I don't watch Big 12 football, so I will sell.

It could be if both teams are playoff eligible going into that game. It will probably be the college game day game due to the rivalry being reignited. Tickets to that game are by far the most expensive out of any CFB game.

With all that being said, sell. tOSU and UM will still be the most watched, especially with Michigan coming off a national championship. I would guess its the most watched SEC game.

It's not his fault...I changed the question to make it more of a debate and less of a landslide.

Appreciate that, though.

OSU Michigan will put Texas/A&M in the dirt, especially with all the Michigan/Harbaugh cheating and the Ryan Day needs to beat Michigan angle.

Remember that the last time this ultra-rivalry was played was in 2011.

How could you have even entertained the idea that it would be the highest watched regular season game of all time?
