Football season is in three weeks (and two days). We have to have strength in numbers on The Rant, so i'm conducting this check in (and to see how many posters we have in general).

But it seems like we don't get a lot of participation on this board. I looked earlier and it said we have 925 people signed up for the board.

This is the SEC so all sports matter.
I am getting too old but would be nice to have specific posters for specific sports. The first out of the gate will be volleyball and looking forward to the team but do not follow as well. Please have a thread.

Volleyball team should be very good again.
As long as you have Madi Skinner, you’re fine
Lose Asjia O’Neal (All-American) as the middle blocker but the freshman setter Swindle should only get better and on top of that they add a setter from Baylor Avery Carlson who was the Big 12 freshman of the year two years ago. Emma Halter will still be solid at libero and then all the other positions I think are toss ups as of now.

They portaled the Skinner sisters from UK prior to entry. Not sure if both are still there or if 1 graduated. Covid created some weird longevity like the guy at UGA for like a decade (or sure felt that way).

They just portalled Madi (who now has 3 nattys). Avery is actually playing in the gold medal match for the US tomorrow and is starting as an outside hitter and I believe playing all 6 positions but not positive on that.
