Reggie White - Defensive End ( he also had stints at Defensive Tackle)
The best there ever was.
The best there ever was.

Tell us the story of cornerback Eric Berry.

I don't really feel qualified to say, but Derrick Thomas seems like he could be a contender.

Are we talking college or professional? If it's college, I don't think there was anyone at his position that was greater than Derrick Thomas. If we're talking professional it would probably then be either John Hannah or Dwight Stephenson.

Eric Berry was great, but he wasn't the greatest to ever play the position of safety.
That would be Ronnie Lott.

Greatest in history. Overall body of work.
If you are an Alabama fan and you say anybody but John Hannah, you are wrong

Lee Roy Selmon - Defensive End - Oklahoma and Tampa Bay.
He is also responsible for starting the football program at University of South Florida.

Yeah, no.
Full disclosure: I am both an Oklahoma and Dallas Cowboys fan.
It pains me to say it, but the name you were looking for was Barry Sanders.

Kevin Durant is probably 2nd at SF behind Bird, maybe 3rd depending on how you classify LeBron.

Chip82 says the 2024 Georgia placekicker will be making 55 yd field goals does that count? And I’ll say Nitro Tuggle just because seriously look at his name.

Reggie is one of the few guys from that era that could undoubtedly dominate today. He was stupid fast for his size. He was like Clowney on steroids except that he wasn’t on anything. Just an absolute athletic freak. Good Christian man that didn’t let the media and PC influence what he said or did. Current players would do well to follow his example

Archie Manning may be one of the most 'Beloved' but certainly not 'Greatest' QB by any means.
I'm not an NFL Oline coach but Laremy Tunsil is the best LT I've ever seen at the collegiate level. Once he got a hand to you it was over. It did not have to be both hands either. He took you wherever he wanted you to go. Never saw Orlando Pace in person. I imagine if I went to a game he played for OSU or the Rams my eyes would gravitate to his position constantly as well. Tackles so good they make you completely stop watching the ball play after play because they're just a master at their art.
