That looks like something Saban's daughter would do today.

That L we took to OU mixed with the hangover of the Kick 6 was such a depressing time as a Bama fan:(

That was a great game. The post game narrative was that Bama didn’t care but I was there and they certainly did. They came out throwing bombs and played to win all game. That OU team just got really hot midway through the season. I think they would have beaten anybody.

Alabama probably would have won if they had run the frick outta Henry. Didn't really seem like Oklahoma had much of an answer for him, except for Alabama to not play him.

Dude had 100 yards and a TD, but only 8 carries. The longest was 43 yards, but even without that one is 57 yards on 7 carries and over 8 YPC.

Instead AJ throws it 30 times along with a couple of INTs.

Lane can't get out of his own way sometimes.

If you say so, question though why doesn’t OU care when it matters? You guys go to playoffs get beat like a g5 squad almost every appearance but were just super pumped to play bama? Or is it more likely bama in fact didnt take it as seriously as they do the playoffs.

Everyone wants to win on gameday.

But most games are won and lost in the weeks prior to the game. Where instead of studying film, you go out and get pussy etc. If you haven't put in the effort when it comes time to prepping, it doesn't matter what the frick you want in the moment.

I don't know, but I think this is going to be the best rivalry in the new SEC.

It's going to be a blast.

I remember watching a local New Orleans news broadcast before leaving the hotel that day and it showed AJ warming up in a t-shirt and shorts. All I can remember is how much of a gut he had compared to just a few weeks earlier. Not getting to play for a title definitely had an effect on that team.

My favorite thing is the fact the dude who originally pulled her away had enough when she supermanned into those gooner punks. He was like "oh she serious"

It would have been nice if you SEC people hadn't spent the entire month leading up to that game talking about how mad Bama was going to be over losing to Auburn... and how they were going to "take out their frustrations" on Oklahoma.

And don't deny it. That is exactly what you all were saying.

Then after you got beat you started with this "didn't wanna be there.... Iron Bowl hangover" stuff.

Maybe your team WAS flat... but maybe you should have considered that possibility before the game was played?

As for the three playoff games... Oklahoma and Georgia was an even game. Went to overtime. The game against Alabama... OU's defense was overmatched and it took OU a quarter and a half to realize Hollywood Brown couldn't go. The LSU game was a travesty. No way around it.

If Bama had committed to the run Bama wins. Throwing the bombs was the problem. If Bama had turned it into a boxing match they would have controlled the game. I've said it before and I'll say it again, when Saban got away from what he did best it cost him probably 2 more national titles. Run the ball, control the clock, wear the other defense down and use your depth. You had a stable of running backs that was the best in the country but he tried to fun n gun.

Moral victories against big 12 teams.

What a hard fall for Alabama.
