Anybody here played it yet?

If so, curious what you think about how Auburn is portrayed.

FWIW, the last edition NCAA 2014 (2013 season) really didn't do Nick Marshall justice. Same for Cam in the 2011 edition.

Hope Thorne plays as good this year as he has on the game for me

Jarquez is really good in the game, as well as Cam Coleman

I replaced him with Walker after a few games

Jarquez seems to be very good but maybe not durable. You are right about Cam. And Fairweather is pretty solid too.

I'm losing to the FCS Pandas at home, so clearly we suck as it couldn't have anything to do with my video game skills

Defense hasn't seemed to be very good. It could very well be operator error too as the defense was rated 86 and the offense 82.

defense is hard no matter WHO you play with. You have to use all the tools they provide to stop the adaptive AI from catching on to you.

I'm embarrassed to admit I've been playing this game since the CFB 98 edition in 1997!
It's gotten me through some tough Auburn seasons though!

Between Auburn being so average in game and Colorado being so over hyped, I'm not even gonna buy it but stuck to FIFA for another year

It’s fun and the atmosphere is by far the best of any of the previous games. Defense is definitely tougher but you start getting used to it. Definitely only hit stick if you’ve got extra defenders around.

I’m looking forward to ranking updates throughout the season.

I’m waiting for the physical copy. Someone said “Road to Glory” mode, with player creation, you have to be recruited and can’t choose your team? That would suck to only get offers from Kansas and Michigan State if you want to play in the SEC.

Also, can you get players to transfer to your school? ie: entice Judkins to come to Auburn? (Stupid Potatoe-head)

Well, they are kind of going with the thought process of a 2* isn't going to be getting an offer from Alabama. So, realistically you'd play well somewhere and transfer.

If you are a solid player and have your motivations that align with the schools you want to go to, you'll most likely be able to pick them as your school.

Yes, transfer portal is part of the recruiting process.

It has been a long time since I've played the game (I think it was the 2005 or 2006 version on the original Xbox), but back then your created player got scholarship offers from certain schools, but you could choose to walk on at others.

If you create a low ranked player you can still choose to walk on at a big school.
