And hasn't been since Mizzou and A&M joined either.
It's something new. I'll watch for a bit but it's no longer "The SEC". It's some other weird yankee shite.

Says the guy who probably hasn't lived in the Southeast since 1990. Congratulations on waving that flag out West. Maybe you should start following the Buffs, I hear they're going to have a mighty strong team this year.

He's probably just a Rockies fan like me. Lots of pain to be had.

Do you think that's sad? It's no longer the Pac-12, literally. Now, that's sad.

Actually, it should just be called "Georgia and all of those other teams"...

Not the SEC, and hasn’t been for years. Are you in the military? The majority of residents in the Springs are military or ex-military …

Auburn plays 4 teams from the old Big 12, Mizzou, Arkie, Oklahoma, TAMU and 4 from the SEC, Bama, UGA, Kentucky and Vandy...
For the first time in my lifetime, we do not play MSU, Ole Miss or LSU. We used to play Tenn and UF every year.
Miss it.

Technically every school in the SEC is south and east of the geographic center of the continental US (which is in Kansas).
So it's still the SEC.

Arkansas was never part of the Big 12. It was still the SWC when they left at the end of 1991 (the Big 12 didn't start until 1994).

When the whole country got political, Texas and Oklahoma started to feel a lot more Southern.
