1990 Iowa State in Norman. First time OU lost to the Cyclones since 1961. I considered banning myself from attending games after that, but I've since been to far more victories than defeats, thankfully.

I think I was watching games before permanent memories were being formed. I can barely recall things from around the 1983 or '84 seasons, but it's sometimes hard to tell if those are actual live memories or just from rewatching highlights later. I definitely remember big chunks of the 1985 championship season.

Easy. I told you guys that I am old. First attended: OU beating Colorado 42-12, 10/03/59

First on TV: no idea. My mom was one of the biggest OU fans I have ever been around. I was born in 48 and can't remember a time not watchin OU.

I had to look it up but my first in person game was 26 Sep 1964 when we lost to USC 14-40. That was Gomer Jones (bless his heart) first season.
My earliest memories of Oklahoma football was listening to a game on the radio. We didn't have TV, we were making ice cream sitting under a black jack tree. Mid 50s.

We lived in the country and didn’t have tv when I was small. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as football. Moved into town in 54, still no tv until about 57 or 58. I had discovered football before then in grade school.

1984 - Bosworth's break-out game, as featured on 30 for 30, vs. Stanford.

It was in September in Norman and one of the hottest days I can remember.

North Carolina in 2001.
My son was a freshman trumpet in The Pride. Couldn't miss his first run out of the tunnel. South endzone, row 67. Bought tickets outside stadium for face value of $35 each.

Oct 28, 1965... Gomer's boys lost to Colorado 14-0.

First game on TV. OU beat undefeated Nebraska 10-9 in 1966. Only televised game that year.

First OU game I remember anything about. 1964. OU beat undefeated Nebraska 17-7. Don't remember the game but I remember the score and how excited my folks were that we had beaten Nebraska.
