First, the man has a sub 11 second 100 meter at nearly 210 lbs. He is not deceptively fast, he is fast.

Second, he catches anything close to him, and they are 80/20 throws.

Third, he is great in space, go check his tapes, his high school coaches knew it. Just get him the ball, flairs, swing, no need for 50 yard passes, just get the friggin ball in his hands and he will do the rest.

So he takes a few games to get acclimated. Oklahoma rolls into Jordan Hare triple covering Coleman, and after about six catches and two tds they will be saying can someone please cover MR. Thompson.

Thats my story and Im stickin to it.

I dont think Auburn fans are discounting his ability at all. Dude is a 5 star WR regardless of his ratings drop after flipping from Bama.

People tend to put players on a back burner until they actually do something.

Its not unusual.

Regardless of the opinions of others, Perry looks like a promising addition to the team.

They will all have their place. Our benefit? We replace the one on the field with one just as fast……yet they have one worn DB replaced with someone slower.

Wear them out.

I fully agree. He’s a beast and I’ll always thank him for getting this class started by committing.

Looked it up and he ran basically a 7 flat 60m and a 11 100m...

That's actually really fast. For context Onterio McCalebb's HS PB was 10.9

Every once in a while, usually during the season when AU is sucking arse, I go back to watch some Cam, Nick highlights and realize what an electric player OMac was. Such a frail dude, but ran like a fricking gazelle weaving in and out in open space.

Not sure where the “discounting“ is coming from because everybody I’ve seen thinks the kid is super talented and knows he will be great.

Having a speedster like OMac was critical for that offensive scheme.

Maybe unpopular opinion but Corey Grant > OMac. He was just as fast but could actually run people over.

IMO Grant was better in almost every way. We just didn't use him nearly as much. Dude was a beast.

3200 scrimmage yards and 27 TDs vs 1100 scrimmage yards and 10 TDs.

Completely disagree.

Was OMac the Auburn player who would run down and catch wild rabbits as a kid?
