I put a little money on FSU this morning. I’m hedging my fandom.

FYI, the times in the bracket image are central. It says so at the bottom of the image, but it is small print, and we usually use eastern time, so hence the warning.

Nervous about our pitching. FSU can hit with the best of em.

We can't be friends this week. I mentioned early in the year that UF was not someone I wanted to play at the end of the season and that they're a potential team to "Ole Miss" their way to a title. If it comes to fruition, I will not be a happy camper.

Has it always been called the Men's College World Series? That seems like some woke BS.

We can be friends any time but while the game is afoot. I will do my normal disappearing act during the game.

No it has not, but the libbies run the networks and they do not care about marketing men's athletics to men, because we are too stubborn and stupid to realize we could get them to change. Also many people do not understand how change works so they allow themselves to be led by pansies.

Not that it bothers me.

Would you risk $500 to win $1000?

Betting all 4 is getting approximately 2-1 odds
$168 on FSU (8-1)
$137 on UVA (10-1)
$100 on UF (14-1)
$95 on NC State (15-1)

If any of the 4 win, the payout is a profit of about $1,000.

Second time in three years that the Fightin' Texas Aggies have made it to Omaha!

Hopefully, our time won't be short.

Omaha. It’s time. God, I love college baseball.

Sadly (?), I’ll be attending the George Strait concert at Kyle Field with the family on Saturday night as the Ags take the field for game 1 against the Gators. Would rather be basking in glow of the ballpark cathedral on the Plains, but alas, poor planning.

Those in attendance, I salute you. Have fun.
