Nearly half of their headlines on the front page are WNBA related. They are trying their absolute hardest to shove women's basketball down our throat.
College Football starts in two months. Can we not get any news related to that??

It is 2024.
There are hundreds of hours of content on YouTube and hundreds of articles online elsewhere.

ESPN is going to push their product, and WNBA is their product. As others have said, look anywhere but ESPN

You do realize it only takes a click or two to get into the college football section right? At the top of my home screen, I see options for NCAAF, NFL, NBA and MLB. I don't see one for the WNBA. If I click on the 3 little dots to the right of the MLB to open what other options there are, I don't see the WNBA until I get to the bottom of the second column.
And as it was pointed out, that's part of their business that's currently in season. If you had a sports media company that had that as part of it's business, you'd be putting headlines on your front page too.
It's amazing what some of you people will complain about.

To be fair to the OP, I don't have to turn my local sports radio on to know what they are talking about right this second.
The NFL.
It is the offseason, and it is predictable that over half of the content is NFL every single day.
I understand that frustration.
Which is why I don't listen to local sport talk radio.

Yes, there was a bit of smartassness in there, but there's also a wealth of other information there just a few clicks away. I've never watched a WNBA game in my life and I don't have any plans to, but I'm not the least bit bothered that a company is putting it's product on the front page of their website. Just click into the college football section. It's incredibly easy.
And if you don't want to do that, there are plenty other sites to go to.

At the risk of sounding like a woman hater and to pile on, I'm kind of sick and tired of having a woman annoucer for just about every sport they broadcast now. It makes whatever I'm watching unwatchable, I have to turn it off.
To make it worse, either they all sound the same or they only have 1 woman doing the job.. and she somehow has the bandwidth to cover every single sport every day.. it's insane.
Don't get me wrong I like women, but sports was kind of my thing, my escape. I get enough dialog from my wife when I get home from work, I don't need that kind of dialog injected into sports... it's too much for my brain to handle.
