Because Vols fans are arrogant when they get a tiny amount of success. They’re like UGA fans who think they’re top dog after 40 years of nothing, but at least UGA won those 2 flash in the pan championships.
Also, I don’t buy into the “SEC SEC SEC” chants. I will never pull for an SEC team not named LSU, unless they play USC or Notre Dame. I don’t care what game it is.

They are like the LSU fans who thought they were top dog after 45 years of nothing and finally lucked into a couple in 03 and 07. At least they have a recent legitimate championship in 2019. Like LSU, they are a perennial 8-4 or 9-3 program that thinks they belong in the modern upper echelon with UGA and Bama. Neither program is even on par with Clemson who is second tier right now.

Most schools get support here. Tennessee doesn't because the UT fans and alters are here every preseason yapping like children with a traumatic brain injury then suddenly get quiet by season's end.
