Nico actually is friends with BY and models his game after him. He is like a much bigger, stronger, faster version of Bryce Young.

He's six feet six inches tall and can run like a gazelle. When he puts on some more weight he's going to be trucking SEC defenders left and right in addition to running circles around them.

Nico is far more talented than Milton. No question there but the situation last season was always one where he was going to backup Milton unless there was an injury. Even at his most frustrating there was no real reason to bench Milton give the totality of the the situation.

Milroe beat Joe Biden. Hold on to that feeling.

Look up Milroe career stats and compare them to your starter Nussmeier’s and get back to me. I bet I hear crickets

Most desired recruit in the nation. We paid big money for him for a reason.

A generational QB can win a title with a top 20 talent composite roster.

We haven't had a QB recruit this big since Manning.

So the QB room with the guy who was QB for the SEC champions, denied UGA their 3 peat, lost in OT to the national champs, has the 4th best odds to win the Heisman this year, and is backed up by previous 5 star Ty Simpson is the same as Florida? And behind an LSU guy with zero starts? Right.

What Texas needs is to win a championship then the quarterback will be well worth it. I would say it's a wait and see approach.

True but it's safe to say that's the case for most teams. QB play has been our achilles heel since colt left.

And "Arch Manning is the best backup in the country"? Based on what? I bet he's not.

Mediocre high school stats while playing in 1A, mostly :)

Given the rankings on this list, the A&M QB room is easily better than 7, especially considering the depth. And a healthy Weigman was performing like a top 5 SEC QB.

The issue right now is the OL regressed under Addazio. So they have a lot to prove. But if they play halfway decent, the QB talent will look fine.

You must’ve missed his bomb to a wide open receiver in the spring game.

Weigman in 2023:

v. UNM & ULM:
43 of 52, 82.7%, 11 yds/att, 6 TD, 0 Int

v. Miami & Auburn:
39 of 67, 58.2%, 6.1 yds/att, 2 TD, 2 Int

His stats v. the P5 were not Top 5 SEC.

The only thing Nuss has is experience. He's a middle of the road game manager type of QB best case scenario. That's his ceiling which is lower than Nico's floor.

We will be laughing at this take by the end of the year.

mizzou's starter is a top five sec qb going into his third year starting and his back up has thrown for 26 tds to 9 interceptions at the power five level. i can't really say i understand why pate would have us ranked behind schools starting rookie qbs

You are skewing stats with that Auburn game. He played less than a half of football.

Since he had more attempts in the second two games than the first two listed, I fail to see how it skews stats at all. As a comparison it shows the majority of his stats came against the cupcakes.

It’s so funny listening to the Tennessee fans. What have y'all done in the last 20 years in any sport? I’m not talking about making it to a tournament. You have to win a championship to be this crazy.

Nobody even knows who the starter will be at A&M. I think seven is more than fair with the patchwork OL
