Gators just getting warmed up, going to sweep the Dawgs
Or, more likely, we sneak in 1 win, barely make the SEC tourney before going quietly into the night.

Looks like Hogs/Aggies may get washed out tonight.
DVH mentioned in a presser yesterday that the “new rule” allows us to play on Sunday if need be. Guess I don’t know what he’s referring to. Maybe the last weekend of the regular season isn’t tied to the “series has to be done in 3 days, no matter when it starts” rule.

If the games have anything to do with seeding they can be played on Sunday of the last weekend series.

I don’t believe either want to play Sunday since the SEC tourney starts Tuesday/Wednesday. Yall are right, tonight looks extremely unlikely they play. That stink because I had good tickets too.

Did you ask Schloss and DVH?

I mean I hope the Hogs don’t even make the trip to Hoover. I could not possibly care any less about that tournament. Maybe get some reserves some playing time and get some pitchers some work that haven’t pitched in a while.

Yeah texted them both… or maybe that was my takeaway from them speaking publicly about the series.

Kolten Smith getting the start tonight. He’s looking to complete one of the best season turnarounds I’ve ever seen
On April 10th, his ERA was 8.77.
Since:
• 7 Appearances (2 starts)
• 27.2 IP
• 3 ER (0.97 ERA)
• 43 Strikeouts

Weather looks rough for Friday and Saturday in Athens. Wondering if they’ll move the Friday game up in the day. Saturday may get washed out or moved to Sunday unless the forecast changes
