Anyone that thinks Freeze is in the top half of the league is an idiot.

Top half? Go ahead and name the 7 that are better than he is.

When Auburn hired Harsin he was a better HC than Drinkwitz that time. Drinkwitz was an assistant under Harsin at one point. The only problem is Harsin had zero experience recruiting in the south and east. Freeze just isn't that good and who were the HCs at other schools in the SEC? Now there are a lot of good HCs at the same schools he had faced in the past. Plus 2 new schools and HCs. This is going to be an uphill battle for Freeze.

Whoever Bama has will always be better than whoever UGA has.

Sorry you had to find out this way

Jimmy Rane is not Auburn’s biggest donor.

Lol you haven't followed Auburn - we're numb to inconsistency.

Brother Hugh is potentially top 5 even top 2.

AU being back to top 10 classes is a big deal - we haven't brought in this kind of across the board talent since Chizik.

???

Saban - title winner
Richt/Smart - Richt couldn't get over the hump for a title but let's not say the guy was awful at UGA... they were good year in/year out
Miles - title winner
Malzahn - title runner up
Mullen - best MSU has ever been

Yeah, the first year had some pretty bad moments. It's just entertainment though. Weird to get all emotional about it.

How good can they be? They certainly likely won't be in the NFL after their playing days are over at Auburn. It's not like Auburn has a great recent track record for high-round draft picks.

Says who? We had 5 guys drafted off our recent shitty teams this year.

No shite. It's not like we've fired a couple of coaches in the last 4 years. I'm sorry you don't understand the importance of recruiting or coaching acumen. Or do you think Freeze cannot recruit?

True. But, inconsistency’s harder to stomach for boosters who are directly buying the top ten classes.

Imagine what it costs to hire A.J. Brown, D.K. Metcalf, Evan Engram, Dawson Knox & Van Jefferson at today’s premiums. You think Hugh taking that much all-pro talent bought and paid for & going 2-6 in the SEC like he did at OM will fly at Auburn?

No idea if he's pulling hookers from Columbus, but he's got us in the top-10 again for 2025. Now we see if this staff can retain and develop them.

I don't know if he offers the prostitutes to players or if he just needs the company of prostitutes to keep his mind right for recruiting, but he showed with his Ole Miss recruiting that Freeze + prostitutes = recruiting success.
