I don't understand why Dabo thinks this will work..
I get that he wants to be loyal to the kids he signed..
but this is going overboard

Dabo literally begging the game to pass him by in his mid-50s

Clemson had 9 players transfer out too

Had 11 players transfer out the previous year and they took 1 transfer in, Paul Tyson from Bama (well via ASU)

He's going to get his wish. I'm still trying to imagine how this would have gone over had he gotten the BAMA job.

The way he has handled the transfer portal is probably the biggest reason he wasnt even seriously considered for the bama job

you have to be offered a job to get it. Dabo would/shoudl have been choice number like 10-15 on bama's list and it never would've gotten that far. Dabo is by far the most overrated coach in the game today. I've posted the full stats countless times and don't feel like searching for them again but Dabo is essentially a worse version of mark richt in a weaker conference, that jsut so happened ot have two "generational" (although I hate that term) QBs almost back to back. Without a 1st overall pick bonafide NFL starter at QB he has done practically nothing. In fact, there was a 1-year gap sandwiched in between deshaun/trevor, and in that year they managed to lose to an 8-loss syracuse team and got shellacked by bama and didn't even score 7 points.

Dabo at bama would have been glorious for all onlookers but would have been an utter disaster for both bama and him.

85 kids staring at NIL is expecting a whole lot of loyalty in return.

In the bigger picture, he has already been unable to reload when he misses on position. Florida State and Miami are truly the anti-Clemson of the ACC.

Is it "possible" to transfer out of these? I know they have a service commitment but will they allow them to transfer out and that commitment go away?

Its a might near impossible to transfer in as a regular student...have to have a congressional recomendation to get in at all, no? Thats hard to justfiy down the road....Considering the obstacles in their way its amazing they can be competitive but they can....not winning a natty competitive but winning a bowl game competitive

Dabo is taking the FSU route. Time to make rings for the portal-free national champions.

Dabo’s favorite pastime is collecting Alabama legacies. Both on his roster and coaching staff.

Dabo is certainly a better coach than Jimbo based on results over the years, but it’s hard not to start drawing comparisons between them as time goes on.

Dabo seems set in his ways and unwilling to change, the game is passing him up. Just like it did Fisher. As much as many folks don’t like the transfer portal, it’s a tool, you better use it because your competitors sure are.

Dabo did great before NIL when that church was welcoming players to the congregation.

Field gets leveled and so does Dabo. Dawgs will cover.

They could be willing to run through a wall for him. At the end it won't matter because he will be out-talented and out-depthed at every turn.

If it was a doctor treating a patient it would be malpractice.

This is as bad as CBK not paying players.

Clemson is back to 9-3 program

Georgia is going to smoke them. Similar to Georgia Oregon in Atlanta 2 years ago.
