Vols have jumped up big early on against Bama in the past two seasons

2022 - Tennessee started the game by going up 21-7 with Hooker and Hyatt at home.
2023 - Tennessee went up 20-7 early despite having Milton at QB and playing in Tuscaloosa.
These were against Saban's last two teams.
Do you gumps really think that you stand a prayer against Nico behind a stout oline, our veteran crop of WRs which will include a new 5 star talent and a deeper overall Tennessee roster inside of Neyland this year under a first year coach?
Word out of camp is that our secondary is going to be greatly improved and our running game is going to be just as stout as the previous two years.
Unless you've lived in a cave these past few years you'd know that our secondary has been our weak link under Heupel. That and Joe Milton ofcourse.
Gumps, i really don't think this game is going to be close.
It takes time for a first year coach to get everyone on the same page in their new system. Even Butch Jones beat Kirby in Kirby's first year at UGA. Countless other examples.
2025 could be interesting though.

Funny how all the preseason things that will scare the SEC suddenly become the sole reason the Vols didn't win.
Every. Single. Year.

I've got a question: Who gives a shite?

No, I'm just excited about football season.

I would imagine Bama fans care.
Did i mention Mizzou in this post? Sit down and mind your own business.

Teams always look great in camp.
You clowns were telling us that everyone was terrified of Milton and that he'd win the Heisman, this time last year.
The truth of the matter is that Tennessee is a middle of the road team talent wise in this conference and usually win 8-9 games under Heupel.

Tennessee fans assume that all their players will improve leaps and bounds to All-American status while everyone else will stay the same or get worse.
Arrogant SOB's.

Thanks but we'll join the conversation AFTER the game.

You don't follow football closely if you are comparing a 6 year senior who's lights never came on at multiple schools but happened to have one decent bowl game outing causing fans to be optimistic as opposed to the most prized recruit in the nation who by all reports is a prodigy and the most cerebral QB to come out of his entire class.
LSU fans are fricking dumbasses. Talk about comparing apples to oranges. Not to mention our WRs were very green as well still last year.
Comparing Milton to Nico is the dumbest thing ever because there is absolutely nothing remotely similar to the two as players. Zero.
You all know that I'm right but you just want to throw shade and talk shite. Keep kissing up to your daddy Bama though idiots.

No it's you that doesn't understand football. The SEC is a line of scrimmage league. The reason you lose to the Alabama's and UGA's of the world almost every year is because they kick your arse at the line of scrimmage. Hell, you can't even beat UF. Heupel's offense is good for padding stats against lesser opponents but they fold whenever they play the big boys. Yet every year it's the next UT QB who's going to win the Heisman and dominate the league. There are 22 players on the field. You haven't been to the SEC Championship game since 2007 when LSU broke your arse, but every off season it's wash, rinse and repeat with you retards.

Tennessee fans were the ones saying Milton would be great, not me.

Thanks for further proving my point idiot.
Tennessee 's line of scrimmage on both sides have faired VERY well against Bama these past two years.
Do you even know anything about our lines?
We have the best defensive lineman in the nation in Pearce and plenty of others. Oline is going to be stout as well.
More proof that you don't know shite. Our lines might not be as deep total talent wise as a UGA or Bama, but we are much better than you little turd muffins are acting like. Plenty good enough to make huge noise if our skill position players and secondary show up.

Yall may get lucky and get your 2nd win in 2 decades.
Probably not, though.
Probably not, though.

Maybe that's because we don't have soft arse finesse BK as our coach.
Is LSU actually going to try to play some defense this year?

Saban is not your coach this year gump and even his first year at Bama was rough despite being the GOAT.
Kalen Da-crybaby very most likely ain't leaving Neyland in his first season at Bama with a win and you know it.

As a Bama fan, there are some games on the schedule that concern me. Tennessee ain’t one of them

It wasn’t rough against Tennessee that year.
