Schloss mentioned that a team had been busted for having a live feed into their dugout of the catcher. He mentioned a huge disparity in the home/road batting avg (something like .306 vs .206), but now who.

Here are the team's home/road BA:

Arkansas - .299/.211 (.088) - looks like we might have a winner
Georgia - .332/.251 (.081) - BA too high
Mississippi St - .310/.233 (.077) - maybe...
Vanderbilt - .306/.233 (.073) - maybe...

Missouri - .279/.219 (.060) - I guess, but I would guess no. Split not that large.

Everyone else doesn't have a giant split.
Florida - .300/.242 (.058)
Ole Miss - .286/.230 (.056)
Texas A&M - .330/.292 (.038)
Auburn - .277/.242 (.035)
Tennessee - .340/.304 (.034)
Kentucky - .314/.286 (.028)
Alabama - .321/.298 (.023)
South Carolina - .278/.256 (.022)
Lsu - .286/.267 (.019)

Arkansas....

You really going to throw that out without a link or source?

I don’t doubt Schloss is on top of that. But where and when did he say that?

Link?

Is that actual cheating or is it just frowned upon?

I doubt they have a decoding system as good as Houston's. And a lot of opponents use pitch com so it defeats the purpose quite a bit. But no trash cans needed if the offense is using pitchcom.

I don't know what language is used, but you are not supposed to be able to steal signs via electronic media. But does the catcher even give any signs with the wrist bands now? I don't know.

Arkansas is hitting .260 at home during league play.

Arkansas has been pretty mediocre on the road and at home in regards to offense this season.

I dont recall seeing any catcher in league play, so far, use any hand signals to the pitcher.

Yes, I ran the numbers as well.

.260 at home during SEC games
.211 on the road during SEC games
.238 in SEC play

that seems reasonable to me..

You have to remember, most teams play Q2,3,4 teams at home during the week and usually "lesser" opponents before conference play.. and usually at home.. Arkansas for example has no road opponents outside of SEC play

I'm not saying they did it or didn't do something.. but it's important to compare apples to apples.. and those splits don't seem outrageous to me..

Who cares where it was said?

You think OP is lying that he said it? Or you think Schloss was lying about what he said?

Any chance it’s just factually true?

Probably. First the unlimited scholarships, then the sticky stuff, and now this.

OP is tossing around accusations of cheating and yet he can’t even get his math right. Seems legit.

You're telling me you've never been to Baum without saying you've never been to Baum.
