I don't blame him for it because he truly is an Olympic caliber athlete, but a lot of folks feel he is too focused on Track to be completely bought in on football. Plus, he has been injured or sick a lot the last few years which didn't help

Pretty simple. He wanted to compete in the shot put and not be a part of spring practice. Beyond the constant injuries, his fall performances showed that he had other priorities. The second most important player on the offense needs to be a part of the team (and new offense) in the spring and he chose to be elsewhere. His talent wasn't great enough to overcome lack of participation.
Other than that item, we have a new AD and it shouldn't be a suprise that there are some changes with department staffing. I'm not here to sell anything and I know many will use this to degrade A&M so fire away!

After his freshman year he wasn't very good. But he played little devious game with his QBs. They gave him the snap count and then he tried to hike the ball up just out of reach over their heads.
