I am much more interested in what the liberal media says than what conservative media says. They telegraph their plays so much, you can see what is coming. I try to stay informed of what the assclowns trying to destroy the country as we know are doing instead of sticking my head in the sand. The best way to do it is listen to them for a minute, they are more than happy to tell you.

In general, you are much better off keeping an eye on the enemy instead of getting blindsided by them.

It is kind of like coming here to get the latest Alabama sports news and gossip.

The problem for LSU isn’t that I am participating. It is that Louisiana’s governor is. And it is now a national story.

Defense exhibit number 1 ... Alabama Football not being out for the national Antham... This was a cute, pile on LSU story, until pictures of your school not being out for the National Antham begin to surface.. So why does ALABAMA hate Americe?

Being in the locker room getting prepped for the game like all other teams is not disrespecting the flag or this country. What we have in rant nation is a "failure to communicate."

Better watch out. I’m surprised that “honest” Don hasn’t sent out twitter lite posts -in all caps - labeling y’all unpatriotic traitors and demanding the SEC deport your entire team.

It doesn’t matter if they are talking good or bad about you. Just make sure they spell your name right.

There are not new stories about the LSU/Iowa women’s basketball game today. There are multiple new stories on different news sites about the LSU/Landry/Mulkey/Anthem issue.

It is funny how things that don’t really matter grow into flashpoints in the news.

I got downvoted to oblivion two days ago for saying the anthem thing was bigger than LSU losing a basketball game.

You say it will die down. And it probably will. But most of these movements the past few years have grown from, in hindsight, inconsequential actions or media invented narratives.

There is certainly a pattern. It breaks down along certain lines.

Here is a story/opinion piece that is one hour old.

The ReidOut Blog

Here is one from The Hill posted 7 hours ago. The Hill is a supposed center political reporting site thar gets seen by a lot of people who give zero shits about sports.

Louisiana Pushes Requirement That Athletes be Present for Anthem

Here is a NOLA article/opinion piece.

Landry Misses Mark

No, this has become bigger than a basketball game.

It sucks for Mulkey. It seems to have definitely started with the WaPo hit piece. And then everyone piled on from every direction for any reason.

Modern media and social media suck. And reality often doesn’t match the narrative they sell. But the narrative at the moment is bad for Kim Mulkey.

Alabama fans so bored and craving for attention on the SEC Rant that they're now starting threads about LSU Women's Basketball.....

That is the story we will be hearing about in the news for awhile. It won’t be about basketball. It will be about the national anthem. Good job.

This was the play since the article didn’t get as much run time as it wanted. The whole point was to bring down Mikey because she doesn’t give the media what it wants.

They knew that the team isn’t on the court for the anthem all year so they bring it up in the elite eight with maximum viewership
