Why is the women's bracket easier to do well in than the men's?

Legit question...my men's brackets are toast, but one of my brackets is in the 99th percentile right now.

Because there is a massive gap between the top 5-10 women's programs and everyone else so it's usually really chalky after the first round.

Higher seeds were 31-1 in the first round and 13-3 in the second round (with two of the three being 5s over 4s).
Instead of picking a wild 68 team tournament, you are basically picking a 24 team tournament, every year.
The mens tournament - higher seeds were 21-11 in the first round. Thats a significant difference. Last year higher seeds were 25-7 in the first round, but 7 of the Sweet 16, and 7 of the Elite 8 were off-seed.

Because you're the only person who filled out a women's bracket

Mulkey said it herself, "It is easier to have a Cinderella team in the men's then the women's".

Of the 41 teams to win the women's tournament, only 10 weren't a 1 seed and none lower than a 3.

Simple. Home games the first 2 rounds for the top seeds.

Do they even have women game brackets?

because of parity...but with that said, its harder now to pick the womens bracket than it was 10 years ago by far.

There’s typically fewer upsets in all women’s sports. Less overall elite talent to spread out.
The exception is professional
Women’s tennis, which has been way more unpredictable than men’s in recent years.

Because higher seeds in women’s brackets normally win each game so less chance of lower seeds advancing, also talent level of Top 4 seeds is wide compared to 5-16 seeds
