Fine then I’ll take cal at bama. I’m happy with being in the tournament every year at least. Cal could do that. We hide some nit years. They were awful

Cal lost to Robert Morris in the NIT and had a 9-16 season. He has sucked for a while.

Who would want to go to KYJelly? I am serious. Oats has it made at Bama well paid and little pressure to win.
At Personal Lubricant U you have all kinds of AHoles thinking they should win every single game, and the pressure is tremendous.

Why would Oats go to Kentucky with the setup he has at Bama?

The same reason Stoops would go to Bama. Is that a serious question

Hate to say this to you but Pearl wouldn’t take it. He is dug in at Auburn. Been there a while and they love him there. Besides he is on the backend of his career. He will retire there. The game is changing. Kentucky might not have the strong arm it used to have in hoops. Time to face up to facts.

Kentucky ain't paying $50+ million to buyout Cal and Nate

Have you seen the warehouse Bama plays in? Colman Coliseum literally looks like an airplane storage hanger you would see on a flight line. While I don’t like UK in any sport, they do have a nicer and bigger arena than Bama does.

And Nate has said over and over that while he looks forward to Alabama building a new arena one day the team spends very little time there and the facilities they actually use (practice gym, weight room, training table, nutrition area, etc.) are as good as any place in the country.

As long as Greg Byrne is your AD, I don’t think it happens. He let $70 million increase in price, stop them from building a new arena. With the economy and the world we live in, the prices for everything is going to be high and will not go back to pre Covid prices.
Only way Oats gets a new arena is leaving, unless Byrne gets a sudden change of heart. MBB is a major sport and he is afraid to spent the money. You have schools like Tennessee are spending $95 million alone on Baseball upgrades/renovations to the stadium. I would hate to know that I had an AD that was scared to spend money.
Ask yourself this? If it was football, would he let $70 million stop him from completing football upgrades?

Daughter in school as a sophomore at Bama, and Nate gets to call his shots with the program. UK won’t be willing to pay what it would take to get him out, nor should they.

There's very little pressure at Alabama. He will break through and win big, he has the facilities and what he needs. He just got a new contract and is well paid.
KY JELLY is a fading program with all the blueblood trappings.

I think (hope) this is correct. BP is the most beloved coach in Auburn, up there with Dye and Shug. I could be wrong, but I expect BP to retire at Auburn. He'll have an arena named after him and should become the winningest coach early next year. He may even get his son to take over for him.
And UK would be wise to get a younger coach anyway so they can get more years out of him. UK doesn't need a Pearl to build fan support, they have that. Pearl had to build it all, from the ground up. The arena was a nice quiet place to study, before Bruce came to town.

Bookmark this, because this man is absolutely right.
Funny that cat fans think otherwise. When Cal beat Bruce in Auburn earlier this year, they had me believing we had a loser.
