You're right. Arkansas could never support wrestling.

Too many fat slobs in Arkansas. Wrestling teaches strength, balance, endurance, toughness and weight control. Things you baws just don't have. Wrestling is also a great entry into MMA and combat fighting. Hand to hand technical combat for real men.

But yay, watch your nerds hitting a ball with an aluminum bat.

The way you describe men grappling one another sounds almost poetic. But I'm not in to that

Not that there is anything wrong with that!!!

This is how a Missouri fan describes America's Pastime

Shameful

America's Pasttime is wooden bats, not collegiate aluminum bat baseball.

NCAA basketball is inferior to NBA. College football is a worse product than NFL. Stop making excuses for your sorry baseball program. We will continue to pick off your decent talent as you are now just part of our regional farm system.

We don't care about baseball. Like you don't care about wrestling.

When you don't give a frick then your facilities and fan support sucks, not exactly breaking news.

High school wrestling is bigger than basketball iand baseball in Missouri. Especially when you exclude inner city STL and KC.

I've never watched a college baseball game in my life and no one in rural Missouri gives a shite about HS baseball. Wrestling is a big hs sport in Missouri.

I am guessing Mizzou has several alums at the top of the MMA world?

No but a few that have had more than a cup of coffee, including some UFC title holders. J'den Cox is a beast of a freestyle wrestler and hopefully will coach at Mizzou when Brian Smith retires.

Wrestling ruled my small town in rural Missouri. Well football was a bit "bigger" but the town really supported wrestling from youth programs starting at tee ball age. HS wrestling duals packed the gym more than HS basketball games.

All your fat arse kids in the south could benefit from cardiovascular training and weight control discipline.

Wrestling, gymnastics, wbb, hockey, and volleyball all outdraw baseball everywhere except for the South by a huge margin. Probably a lot more sports than that too.

So what you are telling me is that with all this wrestling success Mizzou has had that a kid from Arkansas has had more UFC success? Yikes. Hope these kids are smart because after they are done grabbing each other it sounds like they are going to the real world

One guy from Arkansas vs more than a handful that have fought for titles and headlined UFC fights and a guy competing for the Olympic team is not even comparable.

Congrats. I don’t think you want to talk Olympics with Arkansas.

Fact is if Mizzou was decent at baseball they would care. They suck so they don’t.

Also, baseball is the biggest sport in Missouri and saying otherwise if foolish. Cardinals have the best fans in the state by far. If you had a decent college team you’d care.

There are only 78 D1 wrestling schools but keep telling everyone how big it is.

There are 300 D1 baseball programs………. Carry on now boy

NCAA baseball attendance.

Boringball Attendance

Top 40 average attendance are pretty much all in the south with a couple odd outliers. The Midwest, where Mizzou is, doesn’t even show up until nearly #50 and crowds are six times smaller by then. The game is dead in over half the country.

Congrats? Wrestling is dead throughout the country. Is it even on ESPN+? 95% of this board lives in the south. This is the Southeastern conference board. You know that right?
