In 4 halves of basketball against USC this year, AU went +22, +18, +20, and +11 before emptying bench with 2 minutes left today. Hard to believe USC finished where they did in conference. Hell of job against the rest of the league by them this year.

I was going to say, South Carolina is a good team, but there is just something about the matchup between Auburn and South Carolina that just favors Auburn.
I think it’s that South Carolina likes to play slow and Auburn likes a quicker pace, and Auburn is good enough defensively to force Carolina to play Auburn’s game.
Unfortunately for Auburn, they won by so much that they will probably knock South Carolina out of the NET top 50, so what was a Quad 1 opportunity before the game will end up being a Quad 2 win. Not that it matters too much, they’re probably locked into the 4 line anyway.
