What does the Bama lineup look like?
QB - Jameis Winston (FSU)
RB - Brian Robinson Jr (Bama)
WR - Nico Collins (Michigan)
WR - George Pickens (UGA)
WR - Jalen Tolbert (South Alabama)
Honorable mention to Kadarius Toney (Florida)!
Julio (Bama) and Jared Cook (S. Carolina) just fell off in the last few years. Same with Phillip Rivers (NC State) at QB.

Shockingly weak group, tbh.

Not sure how he wasn't listed on sports reference. Maybe was born elsewhere. Should definitely be there.

Lots of defensive guys - both that went to Bama/Auburn and that went elsewhere.

Tyreek Hill is originally from Florida.
They could've added Juedy, Ridley or Hollywood Brown for FL.

I almost thought Darnell Mooney (originally from Gadsden), but after that 1000 yard season with Chicago he hasn't broken 500 in the past 2 seasons.
Definitely agree that a defensive lineup would be much better for the state than an offensive one.

Per capita, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and South Carolina produce the most NFL players.
That's a little outdated. In the last few years, it's gone back and forth between Georgia and Louisiana at #1.

This again?
Yet Georgia puts out more players "per capital"

The 2005 and 2022 SECCGs were two start-to-finish fresh shite kickings...

I went and looked at last years info.
There was one change, South Carolina fell out of the top four and was replaced by Georgia. The top three were Georgia, Louisiana, and Alabama. But with populations less than half of Georgia, just a handful of players can change things year to much more for states like AL, MS, SC and LA in terms of rank than Georgia.
Mississippi was fourth. Florida was number five. Florida gets credit for IMG players, which as a high school has more NFL players than any other high school. But many of those players aren’t really from Florida. South Carolina fell all the way to eighth. Texas was ninth and California was somewhere outside the top ten. The point stands either way that the most NFL talent, per capita, comes from the deep south.
