I expect the same energy that LSU fans gave Calvin Ridley to be on display.....or is that just wishful thinking?

And now I'm hyped the Niners didn't draft him.

That sounds waaaaaay worse than what Ridley did. Putting down a couple hundred on one parlay that includes a team you're under contract with but not currently playing for is a hell of a lot different than placing thousands of bets for hundreds of thousands of dollars including bets on the team you're actively playing for.

20+ bets per day for over a year!

Dude sounds like who the gambling addiction number is for.

Yikes, 8900 bets. My guy needs to get some help.
Sounds like his LSU bets were on himself instead of throwing games at least

Yeah that's clearly an addiction. I wonder how the idiot coonasses who funded his NIL bag to keep him from transferring feel about him half assing it on the field and spending all their money on illegal sports betting.

Is it so bad that they would have to vacate wins?
Posted on 1/25/24 at 1:42 pm to biggsc
Vacating wins only applies to Alabama. All other schools are safe from this punishment.

Was that Kirby at the end...lol

I laughed at this part
quote:
Boutte bet that he would score a touchdown and get at least 82.5 yards against Florida State in the Sept 4, 2022 game — he did neither.

Was Nil a thing when he was there?

Yes, this has to do with underage gambling and creating a fictitious account.
In my eyes he's just young and made a mistake. No big deal.

I had someone on this board a month or two ago arguing with me that this wasn't a thing, and point shaving, paid refs, etc. were delusions of fans.
Imagine how many dont get caught.

The fact that Jason Autrey is allowed to officiate Alabama games after what happened in the 2022 Tennessee game is proof that there is shady shite going on.
Posted on 1/25/24 at 4:23 pm to cdur86
Sounds like he did rather ok betting. I bet if it was the other way around and he was in the red, there wouldn't be anything about this.

It's funny you say that because it was the smoking gun that I was using in the argument. EVERYONE in the stadium, everyone at home watching on TV, everyone on the sidelines, the broadcasters, the instant replay, blind people, EVERYONE saw that targeting call on Bryce, and he was roughed another time.
It was as bad as the no call roughing the punter vs Michigan which was on the same level. EVERYONE saw it. Attempt to explain no flag on that play, I dare ya.
Meanwhile Bama was flagged 20 times

Will never be convinced it wasn't rigged. Every game that man officiates against Alabama it's 100% clear he wants Alabama to lose and favors the opposing team from start to finish. Even the TN fans I've talked with agreed it was an extremely sketchy game. I thought the DPI on the game ending INT was the most egregious, the ref came from 30+ yards away to toss the flag to make sure the game didn't end. Insane.

Yep. I was sitting in that end zone and watched the whole thing unfold. It was the most obvious horseshite call I’ve ever seen.
