If you don't think losing Robinson is a big deal then you are a fricking moron and you should stop posting.
I know it’s a loss. I don’t know that he was in coach’s plans. That’s all I’m saying…

Man this guy is really gonna bring along his Sioux Falls/Fresno/Washington staff. This is going to be hilarious.

Robinson worked as the defensive coordinator at South Carolina from 2016 through 2020, when Muschamp was the head coach for the Gamecocks.
Seems that Muschamp was good with this move. Funny how tight nit the SEC coaching staffs are.

The only clear winner from Saban retiring is Georgia.
I would say Auburn more than anyone. When Auburn is serious about competing we recruit the same players and in the no division SEC they may be the only team that has to play Bama every year.

and Bama reduced to rubble.....Bama messageboard now has pinned their hopes to a civil lawsuit against UGA to bring Kirby and UGA down.

Yeah Muschamp seems like a great team player and a guy really enjoying football right now. He's been there, done that, and doesn't let his ego get in his way. And he's rich enough and respected enough he could easily walk away and come back in a few years if he wanted.
I have no doubt he works his arse off but he seems to love every second of it. He is such a great coach to have on the staff.

Wow now that's going to hurt Bama!! That's huge.

This move hurts everyone.. the rich getting richer..
Saban was Kirby’s kryptonite..
Until another team stands with them on top of the mountain, we will all be playing in Kirby’s sandbox
The good news
Georgia has a tougher schedule this year..
vs Clemson (Atlanta)
@ Kentucky
@ Alabama
Auburn
Miss State
@ Texas
Florida (Jacksonville)
@ Ole Miss
Tennessee
Georgia Tech
The bad news..
They will still make the playoffs even if they drop 1-2 games and they will be battle tested and hard to beat..

May be for the best. I'm not losing sleep over it. Let Deboer start from a clean slate.

should also be noted that T-Rob and Muschamp are very, very close. T-Rob worked under Muschamp when he was head coach at both Florida and South Carolina. So not only was this change helped by Muschamp being in Athens - likely orchestrated, in part, by him as well.

So does that mean we will hire Schumann as DC in exchange? I’ll take it.
Oh, yeah. that is exactly what that means. Isn't it obvious?

Is Muschamp or Schumann leaving?
I am hearing Muschamp is returning to be an analyst. So, they could elave I guess, but I am thinking no.
Muschamp's son plays for Georgia so I doubt he is going anywhere.

As has been stated at least twice in this thread, it appears as if Muschamp is going back to analyst.
Read first, post second.
